This is about the hotel called Golden Tulip Royal Garden Champs Elysees Hotel. We made a reservation for 4 nights but unfortunately we could only stay one night .The room was very old.The bathroom doors were not working.The room was not clean at all. We checked out the next day but we noticed that we forgot my wifes Leather jacket and my sons cellphone in the hotel.We called this hotel but they said that the jacket and the phone was not in the room without checking the room on phone.We went to the hotel. A bellboy went to the room to check the jacket and the phone but he said that he couldnt find anything.But we are sure that he didnt even go to the room because he was laughing when he came back.They really made fun out of this.We called the manager several times but we were never able to contact him.They really dont care about their quests.If you are going to this hotel be careful that you lock everything you have.

This place was fineAfter booking through late rooms I read a couple of negative reviews which was a little off putting. However, the service from front of house was very good (thank you Suzanne), my room was clean and utilities and services worked well. They are obviously doing some reno's however I wxperienced no discomfort as aresult of them. Recomendation - well worth the stay and it is very well located.

We have a 3 year old and a 6yr old and found this hotel to be exceptionally safe, clean and perfect for a family. One of the girls behind the desk could have been a bit friendlier, but other than that, all other staff were friendly and helpful.The Hotel was under renovation when we stayed, but there was no noise and no inconvenience. The restaurant was closed due to renovation, but we considered this a bonus as it forced us to find places to eat outside of the Hotel !!Breakfast was included and was excellent.We would stay there again as the location was also superb.Thank you to Late Rooms for such a good saving on our room (222 had 2 double bedrooms and was perfect for a family of 4)

We specifically asked for a hotel where the restaurant would be open for an evening meal - yet it wasn't. Nor were we informed when we arrived. Indeed we were given the opening times for diner so assumed all was well.We had been upgraded to a suite at no extra cost before we booked in without explanation. This saved the day as it had its own patio complete with table abd chairs so we went out and bought some provisions which we ate there in the evening sunshine.Full breakfast was included and was in our opinion excellent - cooked eggs, sausages, bacon, selection of cold meats, cheeses as well as cereal, juice, toast, croissants etc etc

The location of the hotel was brilliant, 5 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe and with many metro stations close by.Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was avaiable until 10am and there were hot and cold options. The room was a bit small but there was a balcony.

Matresses on beds and pillows exceedingly uncomfortable, (probaly haven't been renewed in years!) my scores would have been higher if not for this MAJOR failing. Wife and I had hardly any sleep in 3 nights stay!

Fabulous location but the room was disappointingly small, infact smaller than our bedroom at home which I was not expecting from a 4* hotel. The breadkfast was very nice but the crockery was not very clean. We had hoped to eat in the hotel restaurant but due to a function in the afternoon it was closed. The staff were very friendly. I would stay again if allocated a larger room.

The room was very clean and comfortable and was of a decent size. The breakfast was excellent with a choice of hot and cold food. Usually one only gets a continental breakfast in France so it was nice to have some bacon, eggs and tomato. Breakfast room at the back of the hotel had a nice ambience with its glass topped roof. We enjoyed our stay but next time I think we will stay somewhere a bit closer to the centre of things. (Although I must say we did enjoy dining along the Champs Elysee and then being able to walk back to our hotel.)

The breakfast was included within the room price for our stay and gave exceptional value and choice of items considering we were only anticipating a continental breakfast to be provided. We did not utilise the restaurant for any other meals.We did have a problem with the continual sound of running water from above our room which was disburbing our sleep but the hotel resolved the issue quickly by transferring us to another room and in addition upgraded us to an executive suite.

Found hotel easily. Reception OK. Smallest 4* hotel room I have ever stayed in. My husband & I had to tell each other where we were moving to in the room to avoid bumping into each other. Only space for one bedside table & lamp. Bathroom also very small & almost impossible to get to shower. No problem with clean sheets & towels. Food at breakfast adequate.

Highly disappointing for a 4*, completely ignored any requests eg. a blanket for the baby, requested breakfast in the bedroom...terrible service. Ignored the fact that certain appliances weren't working. Layout is terrible and claustrophobic!

The location of the hotel being just a few minutes walk from the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe was beneficial.Meals and bar facilities were on a par with most other similar hotels.Staff were friendly and accommodating.
