My mother and sisters went to have fun in Vegas. The Golden Nugget was perfect. The people were nice, service excellent, rooms were nice AND clean. We spent a lot of time in other casinos, but always came back to the Nugget because the dealers were so much nicer that the others. A great trip!

Location was fantastic. Mattress and pillows were not too comfortable. Golden Nugget is a great place to stay for everyone. Pool and spa was beautiful, food was great, staff was fantastic and enjoyed our stay.

A refrigerator in the room would be nice.

We love staying at the Golden Nugget. Considering that you rarely spend much time in your room, the most important thing is the cleanliness of the room and linens. The Nugget is a very clean hotel. Big flat screen TV's are new since our last trip...a big plus. Very nice pool...too bad it is always crowded. Good, inexpensive breakfasts at the Carson Street Cafe. And, you can't beat Vic and Anthony's for a yummy dinner. The money you save on the hotel, you can spend at the casino, or going out to dinner or a show. Did I mention they have a first class spa in the hotel. It is absolutely beautiful. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Shark pool very nice. Waterslide through it. Salt water used in place of chlorine in pool so if you have hair, sunglasses, nails, contacts that are affected by salt water don't go in. Music/atmosphere very casual and nice. Monsoon season gave us some nice overcast. The new nightclub "Gold Diggers" was pretty descent and had a nice balcony overlooking Freemont Street Experience. Extremely entertaining unique to Freemont St. music video and lights on the canopy above about 2-3 blks? Highly recommended to see. I'm not into gambling, but it appeared to be your average gambling experience. Our room was on the 21st out of 22 floors, with a nice view. A/C worked well, (almost too well) But they are adjustable. As far as cleanliness it was average overall. Beds made well. One hint I learned, maybe at any hotel, these maids wear gloves, but they will touch and move your products make up glasses, etc to clean/tidy. In this day if you dont want your saline solution touched after you try so hard to keep your hands clean, you have to put it away before you leave the room. Food in Buffet was average/good. Italian Restraunt was average/good. Food and restraunts were all good 24 hr one was excellent. Overall only suggestions to hotel are to make better signs including all room #'s on 21st floor to avoid us wandering around due to it not being indluded on the signage, and more advertisement that there is a work out room. I saw no mention of it and assumed they didn't have one but its * to use unless getting spa service. A good amount of walking done in this hotel. I got a tour of spa area, and it looked nice. 24hr Starbucks in hotel!

Had a great week and the location is great if you don't want to be down on the strip with all of the traffic.

Overall stay was very nice. The suite we were upgraded to was far above and beyond our expectations and made our short trip a little vacation beyond the reason we went to Las Vegas.

Towels were a little old and there was no in room refrigerator or hair dryer.

Check in was quick. Check out was quicker. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was free and easy. Room was very nice. We had breakfast at the Buffet twice and it was good. We drove to the strip and parked at the Fashion Show Mall (free).

There is no other pool like the TANK. The whole motel is beautiful and clean. Very fresh smell (no stale smell like most casinos). Fresh beautiful flowers everywhere. The buffet is a must experiment, wonderful food, very fresh. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff, very friendly. Our family very much enjoyed the Golden Nugget. This was our ninth time visiting Las Vegas but only our first time at the Golden Nugget. We will no longer stay at any other LV hotel. We absolutely LOVE the Golden Nugget!!! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!!!!

Beautiful hotel and amenities. The buffet was a little more expensive than some of the other buffets, but overall it was very nice.

Went for a mini vacation and enjoyed the stay. My flight came in very late, but was able to check into my room upon arrival to get a room to my standards. Room was great, bed very comfortable. Couldn't tell you I really enjoyed the massive crowd outside the hotel doors on Freemont Experience, but I would do it all over again..

Golden Nugget is the place to stay. Alot better than the strip. Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms just fine and clean. Will not ever stay on the strip again. Food great, casino fun, pool very good. Be sure to get a cabana. Dealers very nice. Rita, Irma and Lucy thank you!! Felt safe at all times. Fremont St. very nice. Just a very good value for the money. Actually won at blackjack enough to pay for trip and expenses.

It was centrally located downtown Vegas, access to other Casinos. Roads around Casino were under construction making entrance & exit slightly difficult.

We stayed in the Golden Nugget Hotel from March 29 - April 2, 2009. The front desk was very friendly, changed our room upon request for the next evening - upgraded to a king size bed with no additional charges. The rooms were very clean & comfortable. The service was A-1. We liked using the coupon book given to us at check-in. Some good deals available. My husband loved the Valet service - quick and curteous. The buffet was great - we enjoyed the breakfast buffet x 2 and loved the selection and value (drinks included in price!!). Check in and check out were both quick & efficient. We loved the downtown atmosphere with easy accesibility to Fremont Street. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again!! The only negatives - the valet parking entrance was a little hard for us to find and there was construction going on in close proximity.

It had an amazing pool area, I just didn't have time to use. The buffet was horrible, we paid $22 for dinner and didn't care for it at all. It was a great location, the room was sufficient, the food was just OK.
