The only good thing was the price. the light did not work in the room. bathroom was not clean at all. I booked for 3 person and they gave us 2 small send paper-like towels. staff was not friendly at all. I got in the hotel 2 am and ended up looking for a parking in the city, because the lady at the desk did not want to walk to the reception desk to give me the permit. she said it is too late for her to do anything. I will never go back there. However I guess you get what you pay for.

Hotel is run down and dirty. Our socks we wore at all times in the room were black by the time we left. Positive is a great location.

Rooms were not very good. Price was to high, Rooms are very out of date, did not even have a remote for the tv, nor did it have a phone in the room. Pool was okay. there was no service. I would not pay more than $ a night to stay there. The best thing about my stay was that it is a beach front hotel, and that is all. They rated this hotel as a 2 star but I would have to rate it a negitive 2.

This hotel is on a great area. I have been looking for a hotel that doesn't have many restrictions with pool hours and loud music, etc.... It was for the 4th of July weekend. The hotel for the cost is awesome. I paid $73 a night and had a room on the 1st floor with the pool right in front of me. The beach was footsteps away. The hotel is very dirty, the rooms are smelly, the staff is rude but I didnt go there for those things. If you want to do a family vacation (nice and quiet) then this is not the spot for you. I am young and want to have a good time. So this was the spot or me.

My advise to anyone ,dont stay there . Should be removed from your hotel list.

the property is a mixture of condos and motel rooms. The people who live in the condos leave trash all over and play very loud music and drink alcohol until late. The front desk said they can't do anything about it. Everywhere is filthy. The property was very rundown. We were given two towels total- they were slightly larger than a hand towel. The front desk would not give us more. No cable, our room had no lights. My wife and I are not picky, we are young, poor, just out of college and actually are used to sleeping in our car or in a tent on vacations. We say NOT EVEN THE LOCATION MAKES THIS PLACE WORTH IT. DO NOT STAY HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT. DO NOT TRUST THE OCCASIONAL POSITIVE REVIEW.

The hotel was satisfactoy since it was on the beach and the grounds were well kept. The building is older and had some kind of odor that I couldn't place. The air conditioning units blew on the bed level so we had to shut it off during the night. They did have a ceiling fan though. It was a pretty standard room for the price range. The towels were atrociously worn out though. Nice to see that there are some affordable rooms still on the beach however. I would stay again but would request a different room next time. The front desk did offer to let me see it first but I declined. My bad.

This hotel is horrible. an inspection needs to be done to see if all the regulations are in order, smelly room, building falling apart, rude employees, dirty bathroom which is falling apart everything in it, i got the efficiency with refrigerator and microwave both not working! don't go there you want something cheap but not in that horrible condition

I arrived at the hotel aty 6 PM, the lady at the front desk started with the check in. She does not speak proper english and she never understood my car's color. While we were at the front desk, a man shows up, he seems to be the owner or so. He was with a very bad attitude and very bad dressed, he started shouting and screaming questions about my cars and the fact I went to the hotel with two of them instead of one. Even when I was able to pay an extra chage for the additional car I was not able to tolerate such lack of respect. I finished the conversation after getting the keys. At taht moment the lady began with questions as "when are you going to leave?". This was a nightmare...When we wakled into the room, that was the dirtiest room I have ever been, the floor was dirty as the bathroom and the kitchen. My wife did not want to take a bath while we were there. The poll's water was dark and even when we had the idea to extend our stay for an additional day we left the hotel early in the morning. Then, we realized that the front desk working hours were from 10 AM, so we had to wait for them to check out. In 4000 characters, there is not enough room to describe my frustration and the experience I had at this hotel. This is the worst hotel I have ever been, the staff was very rude and unfriendly, they do not speak english at all and in addition to that all the property is dirty. Save you time and money, this is not an hotel to recommend.

during my vacation we spent as much time as possible out because we were unhappy about the hotel. this was the worst hotel stay i've ever had!!!

The door to my room did not lock properly so I did not feel comfortable leaving anything in the room or sleeping in the room. The rooms are reminiscent of a camp site, very minimal. Towels and sheets were old so very worn. I could see right through them. The entire hotel is in desperate need of basic maintenance and updating. I'm not sure if the pool was properly maintained and sanitized. This statement is based on the fact that I did not smell any chlorine or hear any motors running and it was definitely not a salt water pool. My bathtub had all sorts of rust and probably mold so I showered with my slippers on. The room was pretty depressing but the beach is beautiful and not very crowded, which I liked. I stayed only for one night and I would not have been able to endure more days than that. It's inexpensive but overall not worth it unless you like bare bones campsites and remember to bring your own towels, sheets and a lock for your door. To end on a positive note, at least the room had tile and not carpet.

I read the previous reviews and knew that this hotel was older and just barely acceptable for ammenities, but since I was just staying one night I chose it for beach front location. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. GREAT! Although not modernized in any way, the room was clean and everything worked -- as advertised. NOTHING FANCY but the Ocean. Pool was nice, satellite TV. No phones. It was as I expected and I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. Great price for what you get. Most complainers I read, I double could have gotten any where near as nice a beach and location for anywhere near the price! ! Want a better facility, go to a different area and have your nice room at same price, but with a PARKING LOT instead of Ocean FRONT!

I was looking for something very basic and inexpensive. We arrived an hour late, and having had the foresight to call, the desk said they would leave the keys hidden at the desk as no one would be there. The lobby was not locked and the keys were where they told us. The rooms had no overhead lights in the bedroom area. There were working lights in the kitchenette and the bathroom. The towels were so old and threadbare it was like drying yourself off with sandpaper. All the doors appeared to have been broken into at one time, although our locks did work. One of the pillows on my bed consisted of balled up stuffing, and was unusable. The only thing going for this property was that it is on a beautiful stretch of beach.

This hotel should be condemned, the only value to staying here is that the beach is just feet outside your door (which probably doesn't lock or meet the ground!) I would spend the extra money to stay in a more comfortable room and drive to the beach.

This place was a complete and total dump. I'm not a high maintinence person and I was really just looking for a cheap place to rest my head for a couple nights. I didnt even stay the night. I spent the twenty minutes. The place has a great location if u just want to be in the sun and right next to the beach. But its about 45 minutes from anything fun in South Beach. The room had stains on the sheets that resembled human body fluids. The general manager told me it could have been rust with out flinching...The door to the room would not close or lock properly. The air conditioner sounded like an old car engine. The room was very dark and could have used a coat of paint or two. The furniture was mismatched and old. The matresses were old and worn down to the point where the foam was exposed. I would not wish for my worst enemy to stay here. Its not worth your time or agrivation.
