We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Hotel. The little balcony was a nice addition. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The beach was a only a few minutes walk. I would stay here again.

Great hotel, absolutely recommend it...staff very friendly and helpfull..rooms very clean. 50 metres back from main drag road from beach, so in a quieter street.....Book room at back of hotel for even a quiter room.

Downgraded service because I used the hotel to book a sleeper bus and later learned that they had charged a $5 fee on $25 tickets; the bus company was less than a block away. Otherwise would have rated service very good, the staff was exceptionally helpful. When my glasses broke, a staff member took me to an eyeglass shop and and stayed with me until I had new glasses. Cleanliness was probably the weakest aspect, although even that was not super bad. I'd definitely consider returning, but might look at other options first.

Lovely, clean well-located hotel. Good breakfasts (we loved the pancakes!) Helpful staff and adequate internet facilities. we would stay here again!

The hotel was fine and the location was good. Free Internet. When the air conditioner didn't work in my room they moved me immediately. My only complaint was that they insisted I pay cash.

Golden Hotel was OK, but prices are a bit steep for Nha Trang. The front desk staff is rude (how much does a smile cost?), they barely speak English and overall are not very helpful (not an isolated case in Vietnam). The older lady knows a bit more but could polish her manners. Elevator: so slow everybody ended up using the stairs. Location: great, near the beach and all the restaurants. Rooms: clean besides smelly pillows, everything was in working order (a rarity in 2 star hotels in VN), couldn't hear the street noise but had a construction site next door starting at 7 am!!!!

Hotel was fairly average... free internet facilities with headphones for skype. Air-con, rooms clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and good location. All you will need for a comfortable stay and many restaurants around etc.
