Hotel is quite stylish with very friendly staff who are attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Room was basic but had all the expected facilities that all seemed to work. Free internet access but quite slow connection sometimes. Location is good for the beach and downtown area and it's just a short taxi ride away from Sugar Loaf and Copacabana beach.

I stayed iin Gloria Hotel during February 2008 Carnival. It is in a great location to Sapucari Avenue Carnival Grand Parade site. Famous beaches are far but good transportation around to get them.Neighborhood good and safe.I have already make reservations for next year.Regards, from Montevideo, Republic Oriental of UruguayGaston Harreguy
