Globetrotters Tourist Hostel is special. It is ideally situated only a 2 minute walk from the main street in Dublin (O'Connell Street). The hostel building is very famous. It is 200 years old and was once the home of famous poets and playwrights Mr. Dion Boucicault and Lafcadio Hearne (Koizumi Yakumo).

What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is supplied free of charge on the premises from 7:00am to 10:00am. If you miss breakfast here, there are many cafés and restaurants within a five minute walk.
What transport is available to get around?: As we are right in the centre of the city, there will be no need for buses to and from. We have all transport within at least a two-minute walk, so whether you are going to the beach or the Phoenix Park there are buses and trains and trams within a few minutes' walk. The return bus for the airport is literally right outside our door. Dublin City is quiet small and a lot of the tourist attractions are within walking distance.
What can I do nearby?: We have Temple bar about five minutes walk. We have many different cuisines of different nationalities within a two minute walk.
Do you have internet?: We do have internet in the rooms but not all, so we tend to tell people that Wi-Fi is available in all common areas of the hotel and hostel. This is a free service.
Do you provide parking?: We have parking on the premises at the back of the hotel and it is subject to availability.
