Glentower Guest House - Friendly and well locatedRecommended. Eye-catching and well maintained victorian house only 10 minutes walk from the High Street with a lovely view of the loch. The room was clean and comfortable with a very impressive bathroom although the TV signal was poor and the bed creaked a bit. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Pretty good value for money.

Beautiful B&BThis B&B looks straight out to the loch and is within easy walking distance from the railway station and bus stop (even for my 9-year old who pulled her own suitcase). Our room with two single beds and a double bed was comfortable and had a view of the loch. The bathroom had a heated floor (which was a real treat) and appeared to have been recently updated. Breakfast was well-prepared and our server was pleasant. The owners were extremely nice and took pains to contact us when we accidentally left behind a passport.

Good B and BThe web pictures don't do this B and B justice - it is a beautiful building set in a lovley garden with wonderful views - the decor of our room was very up to date and very clean

Tower Room - Number 3.My wife and I stayed one night in the Tower Room - Number 3 , fitted with single glazed sash windows. This caused lots of condensation overnight as it was a bit cold to leave a window open. There were a number of patches of dampness on the walls underneath the windows, coming through the wallpaper probably caused by the condensation dripping from the windows. The en-suite bathroom was very nice but the ceiling extractor fan was not the most efficient as any steam from the bathroom caused more condensation on the main bedroom sash windows. I noted that the toilet cistern was not properly fitted to the wall. I noted two loose fitting electrical plug sockets in the main bedroom. The king sized bed was starting to sag a little in the middle. The breakfast was good but the bacon was very fatty and the sausages were not that good either, a new supplier/provider is needed. There was one central heating radiator in the bedroom but any heat was being lost due to the lack of double glazing. The views of Loch Linnhe from the windows were excellent but I would not have given this guest house a four star rating more like three star. I thought the price of £80.00 for B&B for two persons for one night was a bit excessive.

Late Easter BreakVery friendly and accomodating staff. Stayed in a standard double room that had an en-suite bathroom with a large shower. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room, good breakfasts and just a very short walk to the town for later meals . Freedom to come and go as you please. Will use if available when back in that area.

Clean and comfortable bed and breakfast very close to Fort William town centre (only five minutes walk). Host was friendly and helpful. Decor is a bit old and 'granmotherly' (flowery wallpaper), but not distasteful. Bathroom was clean and modern. We had the front 'superior' room on the first floor which had lovely views of the loch, and a king size bed which was quite comfortable. Even though that room fronts onto the road, the house is set back enough that noise wasn't an issue at all. Only complaint we would have is that the room wasn't very warm. It's quite a big room, but only had one wall mounted radiator, when it probably could have done with two in order to be properly heated. But overall, stay was enjoyable, comfortable, clean, and what you would hope of this level of accommodation.

highly recommendedVery close to the centre, lovely views of the Loch. Room was spacious and clean (we chose a Superior room when we booked). The hot breakfasts were also delicious and everyone was very friendly. I would recommend Glentower Lower Observatory and we have already booked to stay there again.

Hotel acogedor.Hotel acogedor y confortable. La habitación es amplia y el baño recien reformado. Estancia bastante buena. La única pega, reservamos habitación con vistas y nos dieron vistas laterales.
