We were very happy with our stay at the Glengate. For us it was perfect- there were shops within walking distance (not for everyone...) and all you can eat place (very cheap) just down the road, very close to the Falls and Clifton Hill, and we could see the light show and fireworks from our room. We moved half way through our stay because we wanted a bigger bed, the first room had a heart shaped hot tub (honeymoon suite), and the second was an enormous room! The staff were so friendly and helpful- they were extremely patient and so attentive. We didn't try the breakfast there because we bought our own breakfast and put it in the fridge, but $3.99 per person isn't bad in that area. All in all we loved staying there, and would stay there again. The only problem we encountered was the internet in our room, and that was because they were changin internet and phone providers at the time.

Nice, large, clean room. But the amenities that are supposed to be there are not. No wi-fi in the rooms, but it is in the lobby. No free continental breakfast. No fitness area. No pool. No shuttles. But as I stated the room was nice, large, clean, I had a private balcony, free parking, 20 minute brisk walk to the falls, nice staff, felt secure---and the price at $55/night was right. I just wanted breakfast, a treadmill, and wi-fi (in my room) and I couldn't complain.

The room was good and comfortable. However the bathtub had an old slippery mat and that caused a fall in the tub. It was a blessing that nothing serious happened. I have told the management about this and I hope they do something before something serious happens.

To start with, the amenities listed for the hotel are FALSE, the hotel is by far way more than a 15 minute walk from the casino or the falls every time we went somewhere we had to pay for parking, there is no shuttle to the casino at any time let alone 24 hr shuttle, as for satelite t.v there are 12 channels but no more than 7 at any given time the reception was bad and some of the channels you could barley watch because they were jumping, there was one bed not two, my son slept on the couch he's two, he didn't get much sleep there fore neither did we, there was no lense on the peep hole on the door you could put your finger right through it, there was no hotel directory in the room, for the same price we could have got a hotel on Cliffton hill or close enough.

The hotel was decent for the price. The parking is extremely limited in the front and slightly better in the back. They are serious when they say the indoor parking is for small cars only. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff is polite and helpful. The continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

With the low price you still have all you need. Free wireless internet & breakfast. Staffs were friendly. With a shuttle service to the falls it would be great but you got what you pay for...

My wife and I, traveling with a large church group had a jaccuzi suite and it rivals any nice hotel room we have ever stayed; ANYWHERE. The staff was helpful and friendly. So comfortable we hated to leave. The parking lot is the only issue, our bus had to park somewhere else. Very clean, nice.....Absolutely no complaints, would love to stay there again.

You hear everything happened in adjacent rooms, we can not sleep 2 out of 3 nights , we stayed there.The breakfast is the poorest one I ever had, they serve cookies from the store and few juices - it all.
