Glendeven is known for its fine antiques blended with contemporary art, a lounge-like ocean-view sitting room with games and a brick hearthed fireplace. Stunning botanical gardens, grazing llamas, and 50 laying hens contribute to Glendevens feeling of a luxury ocean view farmstead. What are your breakfast options?: We do a full three course hot in-room breakfast each morning using our own chicken eggs for the egg dish. There is also fruit (hot or cold) and a fresh baked item of the day which can be anything from homemade water bagels, to scones or lemon tea cake. It also includes fresh squeezed organic orange juice and choice of coffee and tea. Again, it is brought to the room each morning and served at 9:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: Mendocino Village by car.

The Big River Bridge does not have a good pedestrian-friendly shoulders so a car is advisable.

The Anderson Valley has the Anderson Valley wine tours, otherwise by car.
What can I do nearby?: We are surrounded by Van Damme State Park so we have three walking trails all right off the property to the headlands, beach, and fern canyon forested trail. There are many other state parks with 10 miles of the inn as well, and old growth redwood forest is a short 45 minute drive.

Glendeven is home to the only Mendocino County only wine bar on the coast for wine tasting, flights and it is a wine shop as well.

Mendocino Village is less than two miles away with shops, galleries, and great restaurants.

Within one mile there is ocean kayaking, river kayaking, and bike rentals too.

There is the entire Anderson Valley wine country to explore with 60 wineries in Mendocino County itself.
