The Glen Loch Motel is an older motel and doesn't offer all the amenities like some of the newer ones, such as a pool, but the cleanliness of the rooms, and the extraordinary customer service offered by the new owners far surpassed our expectations. Excellent location - Irvine Park which offers a petting zoo, waterfall, and wildlife sanctuary is right across the street; close to downtown and easy access from major highways. Nestled in a pine setting and deer often spotted in early evening. Nice covered patio area with tables and chairs for casual conversations.

The motel was very kitschy. Some might consider the amenities to be lacking. The Glen Loch motel is a classic one story, roadside motel from the fifties. You park outside your door and have the basics for an overnight stay - bed, television and bathroom. It is clean and well kept, but shows its age a bit. If you are looking for a bit of nostalgia, it is a great retro experience. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
