When we arrived, the hotel had up down as staying in the hotel which was a little worrying, but luckily this was quickly resolved. I was a little disappointed that there was no discount from the NCP parking. The tariff was £1.20 ph for the first three, and £2.40 ph afterwards during 8-06. Flat rate fee for overnight, which was very reasonable. When we got to the apartments, which was just down the street, we were very impressed with the apartment. It had a nice living room, kitchen, two bedrooms, a main bathroom and an ensuite. Really trendy and nice.It was a fantastic place to stay but there were a few downsides:1. TV Channels were limited to 1-5. It said it offered more like freeview, but this wasn't the case2. In the main bathroom, the shower was always cold so we had to use the ensuite.3. The window in the bedroom wouldn't close, so on Friday night it was really had to sleep with the all the noise from being in the City Centre4. The cleaner didn't show up, so we had to re-use the towels, we ran out of loo roll, and the kitchen bin started to smell. We could have washed the towels and replaced the bin if really wanted to, but we were leaving the next day and well it was meant to be part of the service.5. The boiler or whatever it was in the cupboard started shrieking for about an hour on the sunday night. Was very loud and distracting.Whilst not major, the apartment was suffering from wear and tear.

We had a problem at first trying to locate where you picked the keys up from, I phoned and was told to pick the up from the Best Western Hotel which is located just round the corner from the apartments, which was ok. The apartment itself was nice and well equipped, but we did have a problem with the heating as the apartment was freezing when we first arrived. I tried turning the heating up but the radiators werent working. I phoned and asked if someone could come and take a look, which they did. The man said the pressure had gone down in the boiler and he had a key to turn the pressure back up. The thing that worried me though was the fact he told me it happened quite regular, which I found a bit odd! The windows were also a bit draughty and it sounded like the windows were actually open, when they werent. Apart from these couple of issues the apartment was nice enough. I wouldnt pay over the odds for them. I am just glad I got it for a reasonable price.

Did not fully read LateRooms booking confirmation, therefore on arrival had no idea how to gain keys. Took us about 45 mins to find out we had to go to another hotel around the corner. I have to ask why there are no instructions on the door of the apartments telling you how to get in! So simple and it would have saved us valuable time. However once in we found the apartment lovely. It had all the mod cons and was very cleam. Bed was really comfy too. Delighted with our stay and will stay again now that we know what we need to do to get in.

Great weekend had by allWe were all delighted with the apartments and the concierge in the evening was a welcome sight as we were led to beleive there wouldn't be anyone there. We left our luggage at the hotel when we checked out, which was great, as it was a little way out of the city. We will be back.

perfect!12 of us went down for a 21st bday, we had booked 3 apartments with 4 in each. One apartment was bigger than the other two but all 3 were in great condition and looked exactly as they did on the website. Its in walkable distance from all the shops and clubs. Would defs stay here again, and it worked out cheaper than most hotels!

graduation short stay in GlasgowAccommodation very convenient, kitchen,/dining/lounge - good size, TV in lounge and in bedroom (flat screen) 2 bedrooms ensuite and bathroom gave lots of space. A very well laid out apartment no noise from adjoining rooms, tesco (small) on the next street, taxi to town only £3.50 if you feel lazy, otherwise roughly a 10 minute walk to the centre, however you are parallell to suckihall street with shops all the way. Loved it much better than room only where you are stuck with sharing tv, etc etc.Would definitely go back.

Lovely place. Pity about going into administrationI had booked a one bedroom apartment and was delighted when it turned out to have two bedrooms, two shwer rooms and a downstairs loo! It was on the 10th and 11th floor and had great views over the city. We paid more for a hotel room in Edinburgh for one night with no breakfast. We were happy with the clean laundry and good beds and showers and the location. the kitchen was very well equipped. The carpet probably needed replacing and the TV reception was hopeless in the lounge but OK in the bedroom. On the whole, we enjoyed staying here much more than an expensive night in a four star hotel in Edinburgh earlier in our trip to Scotland. We had space to relax, cook something from Marks and have a glass of wine after a drive from Oban. There were lots of restaurants and good shopping nearby. We would be happy to say again if the flats haven't been sold off. The company who own them went into administration while we were there and we were told that the appartments were being valued just after we left. Such a pity

What is that smell? The entrance area and corridors leading to the apartment were extremely dirty and there was the strangest smell loitering around the 1st floor area. The apartment itself was 'okay' but i was surprised to find that previous breakages (floor tiles, wardrobe mirrors) had not been attended to. Not great. I booked this using a discounted deal - had I paid the usual amount, I would have been extremely dissatisfied.

Nice apartments but off site service causes headachesLovely apartments but let down by grotty carpets, a noisy location and major confusion about where to go when you arrive (a hotel around the corner) and how to get in and out of the place!

i booked this apartment for my husbands 30th birthday thought it would b nice rather than your usuall hotel. the apartment was lovely and a good size but on arrival at the hotel to pick up key, the room was not yet ready for us. we waited a half hour past check in time and asked how much longer until we could get into apartment the receptionist was very unpolite and arogant and had told us it will b ready when its ready there for i demanded an other room and told her that her customer service sucked. also we requested breakfast when we booked online to be told of the cheeky receptionist we wont b getting it.

Ideal accomodation for a city centre break.Definately recommend the city apartments. This is the second time we have stayed there. Very central. The multi storey car park is a 2 minute walk and only cost £11 for Saturday aftermoon till Sunday lunchtime. Apartment was spacious and clean and the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and utensils. On our first morning we had no hot water for the shower however we called the hotel and within 5 minutes house keeping arrived to show us to another bedroom to use their shower. Very quick and friendly service.

DepositThe only disapiontment was the hotel where very pushy in a £100 deposit per room. This was not mentioned anywhere prior to booking and could have caused issues if I didn't have another card.

Had to collect keys from nearby hotel, very pleasant receptionist, appts just around corner.Appt was clean & well appointed, everything we needed, nice neutral modern deco.On arrival we found bed in teenagers room was a kingsize not twin beds as requested, but after a phone call to reception this was changed quickly. Our room faced onto back and was very quiet, unfortunately kids room faced onto busy Bath St and was noisy until early hours but this is to be expected with such a central location.A few minor things such as holes in walls above blinds, broken mirror panel on wardrobe, and on looking out window we could see evidence of someone having been sick from above onto a glass porch just below us.All in all very good value for £109 for 4 of us and much more convenient than a hotel.
