I had a full suite with a fridge and microwave. When I opted not to go to the business dinners, I was able to kick back in my room and take care of my own meal easily. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. The only downside is that it is 2 blocks from a service agency for the homeless and I walked by a number of homeless people on my way to my meetings. Everyone was very pleasant, but I did feel a little uncomfortable. If I had been driving, this would not have been an issue, because the area immediately surrounding the hotel is fine, but I chose to walk a mile to my meetings. Overall, I thought this was an extremely elegant and comfortable hotel with great amenities. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I think they upgraded me. Best Priceline experience ever. Probably was upgraded but it was fantastic.

Still doing improvements to hotel. was not to disruiptive. Swimming pool out of action, bar closes early. Very good beds, no southern hospitality behind the reception desk. Would consider staying there again.

I am reporting this hotel to whatever agency regulated the hotel industry. The staff and especially the manager and security were boarding on--no, they actually were verbally abusive to my daughter and I. We were given a room with no air conditioning and no air circulation at all. When I asked about it they said to open the windows. We were on the sixteenth floor and there were no screens or anything else to prevent falling out. The windows were relatively low to the floor and falling certainly could have occurred. I asked for screens but got to response. When I pressed it, the manager and security were not interested in helping us. The windows were double hung metal and the weight of the metal windows caused them to gradually shut by themselves after about 15 minutes. My daughter is asthmatic and need air flow in the room. I couldn't get screens or even something to hold the window up and prevent it from gradually closing. I got up periodically all night long to reopen the windows. Before we put out the lights, we had bugs flying in the windows. All of my complaints fell on deaf ears. I believe we were put in a dangerous situation because of the staff's and particularly the manager's disinterest in our predicament. I am going to report them to the agency that regulates the hotel industry tomorrow morning. I can't be legal to require guests to stay in rooms with no air circulating except open windows with no screens! Right now, I am just glad that we are home safely and in one piece. I will never stay in this hotel again and I would not recommend it to anyone else. It is a shame, too, because it is an historic landmark, I stayed in the hotel in years past, and I hate to see a wonderful old hotel on the skids.

So I was on business? Being totally pampered at the Georgian Terrace Hotel made me feel like a southern belle. I didn't have the chance to open the front door a single time. Everyone greeted me with a smile and a friendly greeting. The hotel had old charm, modern convenience and a well trained cordial staff that was staight out of Gone With the Wind. Southern hospitality at it's best! Business? My stay seemed more like a vacation. I walked each morning, had a fresh room with little extras waiting upon my return. Across from the Fox Theather I could have enjoyed a play -- but opted for the quiet and comfort of my room. The architecture of the hotel was exquisite -- the best of the bygone world and the comfort of every modern convenience. Top 10 in my book.

The hotel was beautiful. My room was mediocre. I wasn't impressed with the staff and the parking fee of $25 per day was not cool. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. I'm not very picky and I'm extremely low maintenance so, it's not typical of me to complain.

Beautiful lobby. Valet parking was slow and disorganized. Great location and valet parking was very disorganized and slow.

Wonderful cost/quality ratio. I'd definately go back at the same favourable price. Large suite within walking distance of Georgia Tech and a 5 minutes from the Metro system.

Taking room service meals was a little challenging, with no in-room table on which set my trays.

Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Sitting room had not been refurbished. A lovely old hotel recently upgraded, pleasant helpful employees. I was very pleasantly surprised.

My husband and I celebrated our one year anniversary. The Georgian Terrance is a very nice place to go if you are celebrating a special event or just wanting to go and get away. The only one concern my husband and I had was someone coming into our hotel room about 2 a.m. because the door was unsecure. The hotel DOES NOT have cameras on the floors and we feel as though that is an issue that is bad for the hotel. Because anything can happen and if there is no documentation (i.e., security cameras) on the floors that could be vital. Having working for a Marriott hotel, I know that Marriott strives for the safety of their guest. We feel as though the hotel knew about it. Overall, the experience was beautiful; we were able to swim; he was able to go the fitness center and we were able to see downtown area and we took beautiful pictures. However, we may stay again next year. Because it was a very BEAUTIFUL hotel and we did enjoy it.

I stay at the Georgian Terrace every time I visit Atlanta. It's close to the North Ave MARTA Station, which gets me to the AmericasMart easily every morning. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautiful with lovely views of the city. Wonderful restaurants surround the area. This hotel is a historical jem with all the modern comforts any traveler could desire.

Great lap pool and large, very nice exercises room. Big rooms, nice decor. Door stuck, hard to open. Kitchen but no dishes. This hotel exceeded my expectations for style and overall amenities. The price was excellent for the rather swank accommodations. The bed was exceedingly comfortable, the workout facilities were really impressive for space, cleanliness, and amenities. The staff was always nice, helpful and there were several great restaurants close to the hotel. The decor of the hotel was very impressive and inviting.

This "hotel" is not only MISREPRESENTED but also MISMANGED: a) The ONLY option for parking is 25.00 valet, the site says self-parking is available but according to the parking booth attendent you can park yourself @ 22.00 but cannot leave without repaying. b) Service is sloooooooow!!!! so is the elevator. c) Parts of the hotel are unremodeled (and not a cute vintage way more like a brothel in a bad part of town). We literally crossed a thresold from nice hotel to old, dirty carpet and very small room d) No attempt was made to satisfy our complaints, I waited on the phone for 45 mins. A truly disappointing experience for a night I was so looking forward to.

Love the new renovations that they have to the lobby as well the rooms. All rooms now have flat screen tv's and new appliances. Bathrooms also remodel and makes you feel more at home. Only improvement that can be made is the Valet Parking. You end up waiting anywhere from 5-10 minutes for you car. Could be quicker/more staff. Or have a call in advance service for valet. This doesn't exist now. Overall a good stay and I would stay again.

Convenient downtown location. Another person in the room they gave us. When we entered our assigned room, there was another guest already in room. Went back to desk, gave us another room, but felt they didn't really care about how we felt.

I have to say, I had stayed the hotel about 4 years ago. It was like thye had gone back in time. Their room services menu was out dated and room service was horrible. I actually had a guy bring my food up and not set up the table. My room was dirty, actually it looked like it had not been cleaned in months. My door would move everytime someone would open or close the door next to mine. My window was broken and my blankets also looked like they had never been washed. The pictures have to be old ones. I would not stay there again. If you go call and see if they have done any renavation .

very comfortable and clean. The host was very pleasant and helpful. everything was perfect I have no complaints. Not to sure I agree with the twenty-five dollar a night charge for valet parking or twenty-two dollars a day for self parking, but other than that it was a great stay and I will definitely return which might be the first week of september. I thank the staff of the Georgian Terrance Hotel your hospitality was supurb.
