The Georgetown Inn's best feature is its location in the heart of historic Georgetown, within walking distance to the historic Holy Trinity church, fine dining, flagship store shopping, etc yet also close enough to big city D.C. via the clean, roomy, Circulator bus route (or by private taxi). The room was very comfortable and the hotel restaurant/bar very nice.

The bed and the restaurant were good. A live mouse! It's not a clean hotet. I had a mouse running in my room during the night. I had to change the room in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep the rest of my nights in this hotel. Nothing was done about very noisy people in the room next to mine. The service was rather indiferent and not very friendly.

In my opinion this is the best hotel, in terms of location, in the entire city. The staff is friendly and the rooms are of the highest quality. And you simply can not beat that you are right on Wisconsin Avenue in the best part of Georgetown. Great restaurant, shopping...amazing.

Hotel was in heart of Georgetown, steps from great shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff and inviting restaurant/bar just off lobby. Room however very hot and unable to adjust temperature. Very reasonable winter rates.

The hotel has a great location right around the corner from Georgetown University. The receptionist greated us warmly and our luggage was immediately delivered to the room. The room was larger than expected, quiet very clean with 2 queen beds. We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel, the staff was very professional, polite and helpfull. It was so relaxing and just nice. The checkout was quick and the car was delivered without delay for us to drive back home. We would definitely stay there again when we visit Georgetown University.

I was very disappointed with The Georgetown Inn. I found the rugs abit thread bare and the couch in my room in the same condition. The rugs were stained. It is not what i expected from this hotel.

we went to DC for the long weekend with 2 teenagers. The hotel was nicer than I thought it was going to be, but the staff didn't know much about the travelocity discounts. we were subpose to get parking for 1/2 price they said oh well take it up with them. There is NO air conditioning, being from florida that was a big surprize, luckly the temperture was cold that weekend. Staff had to come up to fix the phone, fix 2 tv cabnets so the doors on them wouldn't keep closing, the heaters, bring us an ashtray for our smoking room, and we had to unload and load even though there was a bellhop. Staff did see to our needs fast, but it just would have been nice if they had prepared the room, etc... We did make reservations! Great area to stay.

Great staff. Very helpful and attentive. Old HVAC system left our room hot, even in early November.

Just spent one night to drop son off at Georgetown University. Location is the best for restaurants and entertainment on M street. Room was justa room nothing unique. Fitness center equipment sparse but all in working condition. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Would stay there again for the rate that online travel website offered.

Location-perfect, beds were comfortable, adequate seating in room. Needs reading lamps near seating. Excellent location in Georgetown, easy bus commute to the District. Room, cleanliness, service far surpassed expectations. Highly recommend.

The one thing that the hotel has going for it is its location. You can't beat it and the hotel holds you captive by it. We live close by and wanted a nice weekend without the kids. We wanted in the heart of Georgetown so this was almost our only option; others were too expensive. The front desk messed up our room reservation, seemed confused over the rate and did not inspire confidence. We had booked a suite which had a great view and was clean enough, but the bathroom was poor. The shower reminded me of one that you would find in a cheap weekend camper. Not suite quality. Also the walls were extremely thin. We awoke every morning to the sound of a person coughing and blowing his/her nose in the room next door. I could even hear them open and shut drawers in the room! There was absolutely no personal quality or hospitality to the hotel. Also, make sure you check your bill carefully when you leave because they will over charge you for things. At departure, they had our room rate wrong and had double charged for parking.

Cute, great location just off downtown dc. Expensive parking. Enjoyed our stay, very helpful staff with sightseeing and transportation info, clean and great air-conditioning.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower/dog tub was too small and was moldy. Good location for sight seeing and restaurants, bed too high up but comfortable elevator broke while there, fire alarm went off false alarm had to wait one hour for elevator to work again, ice machine on our floor broke very small shower with 18 tub on bottom of shower could fit if child or dog. There advertised a luxurious marble bathroom with tub, TV remote broken, we will not stay there again will not pick this area because of our misfortunes at the Georgetown Inn.

Historical value and cleanliness. Clean, Quaint and Historical hotel that is far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to sites. Hotel has played host to some very famous people including John F. Kennedy and the Apollo Astronauts who always stayed on the 5th floor because it was considered good luck.

The staff was excellent. The location is not near a metro stop.

Great staff and location in GT & DC. Small bathroom & bad view from our room. Great location in Georgetown. MTA bus stop right in front of the hotel for easy commutes to and from DC. All of the staff was very polite, helpful and informative about the area.

Rooms were big, location couldn't be better, staff was great. Pay for view selection was weak.
