Staffs were friendly. The room was generally clean. However, I believe, for a hotel to be comfortable, not only the room must be clean, staffs being friendly, most importantly is you have a quiet rest at night. Unfortunately, this hotel was unable to provide a quiet rest at night. The hotel is poorly located. It has a club in the hotel, whereby customers would come to the hotel to have a drunken night till late night. After the club closed at late night, the customers would gather outside the hotel continuing drinking, yelling, shouting, smoking, and talking until early morning 4 -5am. The noise was unbearable and continuously bombarding us throughout the night up to around 5am in the morning. Further, the hotel was located right opposite a church, and the church bell rung every hours. It is not worth the value to stay in this hotel for sure as we did not get ANY sleep!!

it was a perfect location, everything within walking distance. friendly, professional staff, but not intrusive. nice and quiet but really close to the temple area.

Well located for our purposes: Sightseeing, shopping, nightlife. Some design features of the hotel surpriced first but we got used to them in a day.

If you choose to stay at the Geo Fred. Handel, bring along dust rags, tilex, and allergy meds. You'll need all of them here. The blinds (broken, which makes sleeping in Dublin in June almost impossible) were caked in dust. The tile was mildewed. The phone didn't work, as there was no chord. The fridge was not functioning. Breakfast was serviceable and the staff were available, if not exactly responsive to these problems.

Dublin's sights are all within walking distance and the 748 Airlink bus takes you to within a short block of the hotel. The lobby and restaurant looks dreary, but our room #302 was well-lite with two large windows. It had a sofa and table. It was clean and much more inviting. You'll need a light for a better night reading lamp, but we come prepared (when travelling in Europe's more economic hotels and B&B's) with cheap headlamps with adjustable directionality. I would certainly stay here again.

Wonderful position and friendly staff - good breakfast and restaurant for simple meals attached. Bedroom was comfortable and quiet (at the back) but the furnishings were a little on the shabby side. Excellent value for money, I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Not terrible for the price, but don't expect anything fancy! Breakfast was good. You get a hot breakfast with bacon & eggs to order. They also have fruit, cereal, rolls, juice, coffee & tea.

Perfect situated hotel close to everything. It took less than an hour from the airport to our room. The breakfast is typical irish, egg, bacon, baked beans... and tea.

The George Frederick Handel Hotel has a great location, just one block from the airport bus. The hotel has no A/C so you need the windows open for ventilation. There was street noise, so if you are a light sleeper request a room not facing the street. We enjoyed the free breakfast.

Very Friendly staff,breakfast very good,rooms very big and spacious,Good quiet location,Bar area is most unusual but unique.The Manager was very helpfull and knowledgable about the Tourist needs. Would definately stay there again.

This hotel needs a good cleanup, the people cleaning the rooms need to be instructed in how to make beds, general cleaning etc. The breakfast is very good,bar meals are adequate & well priced. The staff except for the cleaners are very good at their jobs.

The pictures on the hotel's web page looked good, but the reality was different. It was supposed to be three star hotel but at least in Finnish rating I think it might have been barely one star.. service was ok, but the room smelled odd and was not in good condition at all..
