The Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center is located on 63 acres of private land and features a host of modern amenities. What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast options at Gaylord Palms are:
- Villa de Flora, which is a Mediterranean buffet style restaurant and the cost is $21.50 per adult and $9.97 per child ages 4-12.
- Java Coast, which is our coffee shop that has a great selection of pastries and cereals.
- Off-property breakfast restaurants are about 5 minutes' away from our resort (Golden Coral, Denny's, IHOP, Cracker Barrel and a wonderful local restaurant Market Street Café located in the town of Celebration).
What transport is available to get around?: We offer a shuttle through Mears Transportation; the cost is $21 one way and $34 round trip per person. This can be booked in advance through the concierge with a credit card, or you can purchase a ticket at the Mears transportation counter located on the ground transportation level of the airport once you arrive. Another option is by town car, which is $73 from the airport and $58 back, or $131 round trip. If you would like to book either of these vehicles in advance, please contact the concierge and we would be happy to assist you. Our Town Cars are available 24 hours a day at the front drive of our resort, for you to take wherever you need to go to Kissimmee or Orlando. Town cars vary in prices based on your destination, and are priced comparable to a taxi, with a fixed rate. You also have the option to take a taxi which we can call for you at any time. We also provide a shuttle to the theme parks in the area.
What can I do nearby?: We have wonderful recreational activities such as a mini-golf, volleyball court, a family and adult pool, and live alligator feedings every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 6:30pm. Attractions located near our resort are Walt Disney World (located 10 minutes from our resort), Universal Studios (located 25 minutes away), and Sea World (located 25 minutes away from our resort).
