This is a fantastic hotel. The location is unbeatable - right on the famous Passeig de Gracia and a 1 minute walk to the Metro station underground. It is close to all of Gaudi's famous sites and La Sagrada Familia. It has a business centre so there is free internet and there is a lot of choice at breakfast. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are extremley friendly and speaking perfect English. They even helped me book a dinner and flamenco dance at night. I would stay here again for sure.

Excellent location in Eixample area, very close to Modernisme buildings and Passeig de Gracia shopping district. Metro station Diagonal is right in front of hotel, just three stops to medieval old town (Barri Gotic). Well isolated windows, so you hardly hear anything - if your room is on the back side. In front of the hotel, there is a construction site, so I would recommend to insist on rooms on the back. Mainly elder guests. We did not try breakfast at the hotel as that is rather expensive - and there are several cafés in the area that offer good breakfast. The room meets the expectations for that price level. It´s not cheap, but it´s what you have to pay for four star accomodation in Barcelona. We would choose the hotel again.

Hotel was in good position for Metro , Tour Buses , Shops and numerous Bars and Restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Breakfast was adequate and although choice was limited , i feel there was something to suit everybody. No major complaints and i would have no hesitation in staying again.

A very nice hotel, relationship of price/quality very good. One problem is there was some noise in the morning. A very good position of the hotel! If i'll come back to Barcellona, i'll go there!

| Our second stay at the Gallery Hotel Barcelona after several years. An excellent hotel, more on the business persons style but excellent location in elegant Gracia area, metro at end of the block, surrounded by eating places and Gaudi buildings, a more calmer aspect. Staff extremely helpful and breakfast excellent, with coffee made personally. Would stay here again. We were given a quiet room on top floor as we stayed for six days. Enjoyed it immensely. | Most, but not all of the staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is a good twenty minute walk from the Placa de Catalunya. The road outside the hotel is currently excavated for work on the underground and although it was not particularly noisy it detracts somewhat from the ambience. However the hotel is of a high standard and at current rates is good value for money. |

Modernized, comfortable, clean hotel rooms in an excellent location, 1/2 block from a subway station. When we were there May 9th to 11th, the street was under reconstruction and the hotel entrance was blocked to taxi service, requiring a half block walk in the rain with our luggage. Other than tis, the hotel is excellent. Many good restaurants nearby.

It would have been good to know that Carrer Rosello is torn up and under construction, as the hotel's web page does. But apart from that, the Gallery Hotel is a fine property in a very good area of Barcelona, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great hotel in excellent area of Barcelona. The staff were friendly and helpfull. The only downsides were the size of my room which was tiny and breakfast was rather pricy at 17 euro but overall i would recommend the Gallery Hotel Barcelona to anyone.

This is an excellent contemporary, stylish hotel. Within yards of much of the modernist archtecture and about a 20 minute walk to Las Ramblas (if you don't fancy the walk, a Metro station is 50 yards away). During our stay ths staff were very efficient and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed two nights over New Year 2007/08 We arrived early at 11.00 a.m. and fully expected to have to wait for our room. However, because we were prepared to take a smoking room (not a trace of smoke anywhere in the room) we were able to freshen up before having lunch at the bakery opposite the hotel. The Gallery is very well situated in a good area. Our room was very well equipped and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Only fault i could find is breakfast was not included in the price so the final bill was increased by an additional 40 euro's for us although we only stayed 2 nights and had to leave early on our final morning so we would of got breakfast in airport anyway. however we did have breakfast there on our first morning and it was very good pleasent very clean resteraunt, curtious staff and food was nice also

Tiny room and a single bed because I was a single traveler. Bed was very uncomfortable- felt like a military cot. bathroom was tiny also. Location was right off the metro which was nice. This is really a 3 star hotel.
