The man who served in a restaurant was very unkind, I turned on my heels didn't eat. they were inattentive to customers and always demand TIP. Unfriendly Staff I really do not understand that they have 4 stars.

Coffee service on each floor lobby. Long lines at check out. Well located in Mexico city. The travel agency in the hotel arranged for a great trip to pueblo for the day. Staff was very helpful at all times.

We upgraded to the Brisas Business Club which was worth the extra cost. A good Continental Breakfast in Briasas Private Club Room everyday with helpful staff member on hand. Great views from window (we were on the 11th floor), clean room, helpful and friendly staff & concierge. Always ready to help get taxis with set price for trips. Beds weren't very comfortable, but not unusual for hotels. Located in Zona Rosa. Hotel very safe, but Zona Rosa has it's share of characters who would steal from you if they can, perhaps typical of down town Mexico City in general. Hotel is about 1 block from statue monument of Angel of Liberty (we could see it from our back hotel window), and about 2 blocks from US Embassy. A nice mall with movie theater is within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants in area, including American Fast Food too (like McDonalds, Papa John's Pizza, Dominoes Pizza, 7-11, etc. Two swimming pools on roof of hotel. The larger one is a play pool only (2 1/2 feet deep) and the other is an exercise pool. Water was clean but a little salty (maybe they use a salt chlorinator). The exercise pool didn't put out a lot of water current pressure to swim against, but good enough to have a mild workout. The work out room was okay, nothing great. But the hotel staff was always very helpful and trying to please, and the hotel itself was upscale, clean, and in good condition. Good value for the cost. We would definitely stay there again.

Concierge very helpfull which made up for the somewhat arrogant front desk staff. Perfect location, very clean, very nice bed + one of the very few hotels with pool in that area. Thoroughly good value for your money.

I traveled to Mexico in July 2008 and I steyed in Galeria Plaza Hotel. The service was excellent.The location also was really helpfull to travel around the city. Overall it was a really nice place to stay.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. my wife and i were first time visitors to mexico city and although we spoke very little spanish the hotel staff was well versed in english and made our stay a great stay in mexico city.

excellent service, a little pricey but the staff really makes you feel welcolmed and the enlish language is spoken here. what ever you want to see just ask the staff a taxi will arrange the trip. restful place good view nice people.

Stayed in Galleria Plaza hotel on my New Year vacation in Mexico city. Very good location in Zona Rosa, very close to the metro station, plentry of restaurants around, 5 minutes taxi ride to the Zocalo, if train is not for you. The hotel has a pool and a gym, but I did not have a chance to use either of them. WiFi is available for free in the business center in the lobby and you can also get it in your room, but I believe you have to pay for it. Overall the experience was great.

The service folks at this Hotel are second to none I have ever experienced. They are helpful, courteous and able. The Hotel was spotless. I highly recommend.

I travel to Mexico City on business once a month and have been trying various hotels in the Zona Rosa since my office moved from Colonia Napoles. So far, Galeria Plaza is one of the best, in terms of service, quality of hotel, etc...BUT try as I could, I just couldn't get used to that bed. It was INCREDIBLY hard, even by Mexican standards. The room service staff tried to make a make-shift topper, but to no avail. For any visitor with back and kidney problems, I would suggest to stay at another hotel. The other problem was the 20 USD charge daily for internet. Steep, even by US standards. Location is great...just off of the more busier streets in the Zona Rosa, so it isn't as loud. The staff is great and pretty intuitive to their guest's needs- especially comforting if you are a woman traveling alone, or a tourist with limited Spanish-speaking skills...they just seem to look out for you a little more. If you don't mind my only BUTs, then you should definitely stay at this hotel.

Liked the decor of alabaster tall lamps. Location was very convenient near the reforma and the Centro.. It was safe to walk at night, lots of police surveillance. Room was comfortable with a safe deposit box in the room, which was very helpful to keep passports etc. Overall was a good experience
