The house is located in a smart leafy area close to the dreaming spires of the University and city centre of Oxford. Easy access to A34 and routes to Woodstock, 20 minutes drive, The Cotswolds, 20 minutes drive ,Bath and Stonehenge. If you feel inclined after one of Sally’s delicious breakfasts, you can walk into the city or buses run every ten minutes. Five minutes walk to several excellent restaurants and a short drive to famous pubs such as The Trout and The Fishes. We can advise you about restaurants with the latest discounts and special offers. There is plenty to see and do in Oxford, The University's 40 colleges, Bodleian Library, Victorian covered market, various museums and Harry Potter's dining hall. At the Gables Guest House you will be offered a very warm welcome and friendly, attentive service throughout your stay, nothing is too much trouble. All of the rooms are recently refurbished, modern rooms with extra comfortable beds and en suite facilities, as well as white fluffy towels and bathrobes.
