The Fresh Hotel was an oasis in the middle of a rather gritty part of athens. But don't let the location put you off, its sleek and funky hotel that plays great music and can whip up a great cocktails. Along with this it was one the best hotel breakfast i have ever had, all self service and a huge range in choice in a bright and modern setting. The staff were always helpful and the room very clean, modern and bright. The top floor bar was so relaxing great for sunbathing and the view is pretty good too! The pool is smaller than it looks on the internet but i would definately stay here again it was brilliant.

A frequent traveler, I wanted something a little different. I found it! Ultra modern design, well run by great staff. 9th floor, "Air lounge" bar/restaurant/pool area - great. Well positioned, just a short walk from everywhere. As good a small hotel as I have found. Trveled with my 10 year old daughter, she loved it too. Only fault - no tissue box in the room. Everything else including the piped music. Perfect. Definately a fan of this chain now.

Fresh Hotel was very accommodating. The complimentary breakfasts were very good. The staff was very attentive and quick to help out. They were also very friendly. My only gripes would be that the steam room ceiling was starting to have issues and the refrigerators in two different rooms we stayed in weren't very cold.

The hotel is very nice design. Lobby, restaurant and the rooftop pool bar are all very nice. The new ice bar is very interesting, but it closed. The room and amenities are very good. The location is somewhat good.

Room a bit small but OK by Euro standards. Only complaint - TV volume control limited so you could barely hear sound. Minimalist decor and cleanliness excellent. World class, champagne buffet breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice - awesome but unchanging - Looked forward to it every morning and 10 AM finish made it nice for a leisurely start to the day. Didn't try restaurant or clubs. Location - 10 minute walk (downhill) from Plaka and base of Acropolis / ruins - Convenient enough - Nearest restaurant square somewhat disappointing in choice and quality - Plaka area better. All in all - Give it 4+ stars - nice place, a little pricey but still fair value for Athens I think. Free 24 hour internet a definite plus.

Very good but drinks were too expensive and also the prices for each bar were different. Not too sure how that works when they clearly buy from the same supplier.

The Fresh hotel was really trendy and updated. It was contemporary and had a good breakfast and nice updated bathrooms. The only thing I disliked about this place was the location didn't appear to be in a good neighborhood. The neighborhood was okay a little dirty for my taste other than that the hotel had a nice swimming pool and bar on the roof of the hotel. I enjoyed the view and bar upstairs.

Fresh Hotel in Athens was great. The room was fairly straighforward but comfortable, but the rooftop pool and bar were fantastic and offered a fantastic view of the Acropolis. The decor is modern and boutique-like; a new bar had just opened but unfortunately they wouldn't allow guests of the hotel in for free, which was a bit disappointing. The fitness center was well-equipped and the business center was adequate. The neighborhood was fairly central (near the market) and for the most part quiet, although in the wee hours of the morning it can get a little dicey, but I think that's probably true for anywhere in Athens. This would be a great hotel for a couple or a group of friends.

The Fresh Hotel is a super modern and hip place to stay with all of the amenities of a 4 star hotel. The pool and rooftop bar are excellent (especially for the view at night) and it was much closer to the sites than we had thought so we never even took the Metro. The area is a little edgy but that is mostly due to all of the graffiti, we felt totally safe walking around day or night.

Fresh hotel felt like a bedroom in a house not in a hotel, which I loved. It was very clean and snazzy looking. They even had slippers for me and the toiletries included shoe shine among other nice things. I loved the pool on top of the roof with a nice Acropolis view. Also, it was a block away from the meat market, which is a sight to see for sure, raw meat hanging in open air, that's Europe. The staff was super friendly and there was free internet in the business center.

A boutique hotel with modern design, small, clean rooms, and an extraordinary bar/lounge/swimming deck on the rooftop with great views of the Acropolis and the sunset -- a very popular place at night. The guests tend to be young. We saw only one family with a child during four nights there. The modern feel of the hotel and the relaxing rooftop are great oases to return to after a hot day in the streets of Athens. Best aspects: cost, the rooftop lounge, the pool (very small, but in the Athens heat, any pool is welcome), and the breakfast. Breakfast is included and they offer a huge variety of foods -- both Greek, continental, and American; view from rooftop. Worst aspects: understaffed, so any request -- however simple -- took a long while to be addressed; the music on the rooftop is incessant and unbearable after a while -- a looping tape of Euro-techno that seemed designed to keep people from staying too long; the pillows and mattresses could be much better; views from the rooms are of dirty courtyards or other buildings; business amenities are minimal.

The hotel was very pleasant, modern boutique style, lovely rooftop bar and pool. Good gym, helpful conceige. One downside in the rooms is that the furniture has very sharp edges, especially the glass cube table which caused a nasty cut on my leg. Certainly not suitable for small children, but convenient to everything in Central Athens.

Great location and easy to find. Within easy walking distance to the metro stations, the plaka and the ancient sites. You also are close to the open air food market. Safe area to walk even at 1:30 in the morning.
