We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the French Quarter Inn! It was just what we were looking for. Great location in the historic district, great amenities including complimentary evening wine and cheese and bedtime milk and cookies, and friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my best friends and family.

Great Place to stay! We were pampered with wine and cheese in afternoon, milk and cookies in evening, bath robes and a great continental breakfast. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

From the xxx-count sheets to the 24-hour complimentary coffee (complete with china cups) in every hallway, this hotel is thinking about their guests. It was a treat to be there. The location is great for getting around everywhere a tourist wants to be in Charleston. The only thing is there's no real view -- you're looking at the rooftops of the market and other nearby buildings. But the room, lobby, patios were all beautiful.

I wanted a luxury hotel for our anniversary. This was it. Very nice. Can't think of much, they did a great job. I stayed at this hotel for my wife and my first anniversary. It was gorgeous. We had a corner room with a large balcony, it had great views. The staff was very welcoming and had every amenity and more than what I was expecting. Greeted with champagne, wine and cheese in the evening and cookies and milk for bedtime. Wonderful location.

We were so pleased with our stay in this hotel. Beautifully decorated with terrific ambiance. Stayed here with 2 teen children who loved the generous complimentary continental breakfast in the morning; the cheese, crackers (and wine) in late afternoon; and the large cookies and milk before bed. The location couldn't have been better. We walked to the water and ate at a nice seafood restaurant and then strolled down through the waterfront park and historic homes along cobblestone streets. In the morning we were near the large market area and local shops and restaurants. Wonderful hotel and delightful city that all should see. We look forward to a return visit.

The French Quarter Inn was the perfect place to stay while visiting Charleston. From checkin to checkout we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The reception staff was pleasant , accomadatinng, and very helpful with dinner suggestions and reservations. The room was comfortable and very clean. The housekeeping service was impecable. The daily breakfast, wine and cheese reception, and evening cookies and milk were real treats. The hotels location is perfect. You can walk to all the historic sites and there are an abundance of excellent restaurants nearby. We can't wait to stay there again!

Loved the first class amenities - especially the treats! From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we were treated with kindness. The hotel is beautiful - and how nice to have special treats such as tea, wine, cookies and milk throughout the day. Best of all was the location - within walking distance of everything!

"We were there on our honeymoon and they made us feel extra special by delivering to our room champagne and a personal note from the manager. The service if 1st class because when you can take a shower in the evening for dinner and come back to your room with turndown service and have fresh towels and clean bathroom, it is superb! The staff was great and helped us upgrade our room which we loved and already have rebooked. You should stay at least one time if nothing but for the convenience."

The French Quarter Inn was better than expected, and we were expecting a lot. The reason for our stay was to celebrate a special anniversary, and the staff was fabulous and treated us so well. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne, which we thought was such a nice touch. We were given great advice for dining and things to do. It was such a relaxing, cozy, elegant place to stay. My husband was especially fond of the complimentary wine and cheese service served every evening. We will recommend the French Quarter Inn to all our friends.

"As we checked in, they offered a glass of champagne to welcome us. Happy hour was in progress which included wine, cheese and grapes. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel offers a continental breakfast and we were told that we could ask for a tray to be delivered to us in the morning at whatever time we chose if we didn't want to go down to the lobby. The entire staff is friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the French Quarter Inn."

The French Quarter Inn is perfect for the frequent traveler who needs to stay in contact with the rest of the world. The junior suite is affordable, large, and has a small business area with a desk, chair, computer, and printer/fax. What more could any one want. Additionally, it is very centrally located, but also very quiet. Speaking of hospitality, there is a refreshing morning breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and evening cookies. Every floor has fresh coffee and tea all day long!
