We enjoyed staying at the Freemont due to its location. Downtown has many things and everything is within walking distance. The Freemont hotel casino was not to bad, food pricing was reasonable. The room had only 3 pillows and no coffee pot. When we called to ask they brought them up within 15 minutes. The items that were not up to standards to me was the TV channel selection. They only had 7 channels, and not all the local channels. The PBS station was not on the tv. Even Motel 6 has more availabe channels. The other item was the bed was not the best. Although is was comfortable, there was a high spot in the center and you felt like rolling from one side to the other. The rooms were small but fit the needs very nicely. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help.

This hotel was a great value, it's right outside Fremont Street, walking distance to lots of stores, casinos, bars, etc. We went for the weekend with a group of friends and we had a fantastic time. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you aren't planning on spending a whole lot of time in your room. It's nothing fancy, just a plain hotel room but waaayyyy less expensive than some other competitor hotels in the area. Staff was nice, rooms very clean.

Fremont is in a great location close to all Downtown activities and other casinos. Step out the door and see the Fremont Experience on an hourly basis. Room rates were highly satisfactory and reasonable.

I really liked the layout of the room. It was very clean and there was not a hint of smoke in the room. It was loud but what do you expect from downtown. The staff and parking was phenomenal. I was disappointed in the Dining. The wait was at least two hours for dinner. The buffet breakfast was very good, espcially the champagne and steak.

My sister and I tried The Fremont in Downtown Las Vegas for a change of venue. On previous trips, we have always stayed on The Strip. We are penny-to-nickel slot players and in our 50s with a fair amount of disposable income and experienced international travelers. Well, we just LOVED the Fremont Experience and our hotel casino. Nowhere else in Vegas or Atlantic City have we ever encountered such friendly, genuinely helpful and really nice staff persons. The room, while not opulent, was clean, tasteful and surprisingly quiet. The beds and the pillows were very comfy. The buffet and grill had great food. Earning a comped breakfast buffet was fast and easy, even for two low-rollers like us. The slots were relatively loose, as were those at the many other casinos within very easy walking distance. Great variety and availability in the 1, 2 and 5-cent machines. We hopped the FREE shuttle to Sam's Town one afternoon and spent several enjoyable hours there. The live band every evening and the light shows were highly entertaining. I enjoyed Fremont/Downtown far more than The Strip.

The room was cozy yet spacious. It was very clean and convient to many activities. It was very quiet inside even though it was very loud outside. We would stay there any time we visit Las Vegas. The hyousekeeping went well beyound what it had to do. We forgot a package in the room in a drawer and they lables it with our room # and name, as well as the date it was left, all noted in a book at the main guest check-in desk. Four days later when we came back through we asked at the desk, never expecting to see the package again, the housekeeping lady brought it to us at the desk. I am very impressed with the staff's helpfulness.

All was ready at the Fremont. The rooms are small, and could use update compared to other hotels downtown Vegas that I use. i travel there at least five times a year. Would not book into Freemont on next visit. Didn't care for the late night food at the restaurant that was open late. Starts with an L...just ot good at all. After one experience we ate at Binion's. Freemont as with other downtown hotels is centrally located for all the downtown action. Beer prices of two dollars a bottle compare to five or seven a bottle on the strip. I may well be done with staying on the strip. Boyd gaming runs a good operation, in fact, after staying in Boyd facilities I plan to buy Boyd Gaming stock.

The Fremont was well worth the price we paid. It only has valet parking, no self parking. The Front Desk staff were very attentive and answered all questions. The elevators for the rooms are conveniently located across from the Front Desk. We had a standard room with a comfortable king size bed. Our room faced an adjoining hotel/casino and Casino Center Blvd, so there was a slight amount of street & public noise. The buffet dining at the Paradise Buffet was also worth it's price. If you don't mind staying off the Strip or the Boulder Highway, the Fremont is an excellent choice.

It was a nice experience, with what we paid for. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel offered different dining choices. The location of the hotel offered us a chance to experience Fremont street within a few steps of our hotel.

Hotel was easy to access from the Casino, staff was very pleasant. Rooms were very nice and updated however, kinda on the small side. Furnace temperature was either extremely hot or nothing so we were constantly turning it on and off. Hotel was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed there, loved being able to walk from one casino to another.

Our stay at the Fremont was very nice. We will definately stay again. If you want to be where the action is the Fremont is the place to stay for the price. Our room was nice & clean(daily). The staff , starting at the front desk, to housekeeping was extremely nice and very friendly. We got more than i thought we would for the money. We took the shuttle to the strip, it was under a lot of construction. The food at the paradise was very good and a nice place to eat. Too bad there is no pool, that is the only thing that i can say was missing.

From check in to food the Fremont was an excellent value. The registration staff was courteous and seemed to enjoy their work. The room was clean, even had a coffee maker! The wait staff at Tony Roma's, and in the buffet were professional, friendly, and enthusiastic. The cocktail waitresses were always around. And I am a nickle and quarter slots person! Because I was there with friends, the door to my room was often left propped open, to avoid all the getting up and down. And security staff CALLED the room to make sure all was well. I would absolutely recommend the Fremont to my friends, and anyone else reading this review!

I really enjoyed the stylish decor of the Fremont Hotel and Casino. It was a bit unexpected because the hotels in the Fremont Street area are a bit dated on the outside. The room was clean, comfortable and I felt very safe.

My friend & I travel to Vegas every January. This is the second time we have stayed at the Fremont and it was all we expexted. The rooms were small but have been remodeled and are clean. The bathrooms were indeed small but clean. I would recomend this Hotel to anyone who just wants to rest between trips to the casino. It is indeed a 3 star property.

The plumbing did not work properly. The air conditioner is the "in-room" type and is very nosy. There is no coffee in the room. The TV channels are a joke. The room is very small and not very clean. The location is great (downtown), but we will try somewhere else next time.

This is an old hotel in Las Vegas, but it is very well kept. Our room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. I asked for an extra pillow and it was provided within 10 minutes. We arrived in Las Vegas early in the morning but they let us check into the room anyways. The restaurants in the hotel are very good. The Seafood buffet was excellent. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone as it is inexpensive and the service much more personable than some of the mega hotels on the strip.

Overall the Fremont was a great experience. While I wouldn't say that the staff was over the top overall they were very pleasant, competent and courteous. Security and the personnel at the Paradise Restaurant (in the Fremont) were especially quick and efficient in locating and returning my 35mm camera which I lost while dining in the hotel. The room was quite comfortable and the gaming in the casino fun and exciting. Located in the heart of the Fremont Experience this hotel provided us an excellent opportunity to visit shops and other casinos downtown and enjoy the free musical entertainment. Only courtesy transportation from the Airport to the hotel would've made the experience better. The Grayline Shuttle was a bit difficult and slow to connect with and the public transit bus (The Deuce) to the Strip was a chore but overall we had a great time and I would definitely like to stay at the Fremont Hotel & Casino again in the near future.
