Rooms are so compact that there is no place to put a suitcase on the floor. One hanger on the wall is the only place to unpack one shirt.

Fragrance is a good budget hotel, it is well located and the room, although small, is clean. Every aspects are above average for a budget hotel except the noise coming into my room was pretty unacceptable on those two nights a stayed. Unfortunately the door wasn't made sound proof at all and there was this group of people staying in multiple rooms around me who keeps bangging doors and make some noise up to 3 am. Appart form that, everything is good.

Smallest hotel I have ever stayed in, we paid extra and upgraded to a larger room. Very helpful front desk staff especially Nichols [Y...], he was very helpful in organising the larger room.

This is a budget hotel and in this category it fits well. However like most things there is always oom for improvement. The Brerakfast regime of just Eggs fried needs to be relaxrd and other types offered etc. Some better design of room furniture and location within the eoom would also make the stay more enjoyable, ie Cupboard so high on wall with no shekving makes it useless consideraing little other are to accomodate personal efects likw clothing. Staff always polite and would stay in the hotel again as provd a good location

GOOD : Very clean, modern, nice breakfast ( not buffet ), good value for the price in Singapore, I would stay there again. BAD : If you are over 5 feet 11 inches about 1.8 metres tall the bed will be too short. Rooms very small. General : most central areas within walking distance.

All rooms are very small. A double room is only suitable for one person. Two in a double room is very squashed.

I had read the reviews prior to getting to the hotel and was aware of the small room and toilet facilities so it was of no suprise. All I wanted was a room to sleep in. Sadly I was feeling unwell for a couple of days and spent more time in the room than I normally do but I handled it okay. The bed was a little small in length but as it was a double I slept comfortably. I felt sorry for a couple of young Westerners at the hotel, who were taller than me and wondered how they managed. Being there for a full week was a little difficult without a wardrobe, but for the price it was okay, although two people sharing it would have found it very hard. I enjoyed my time there the breakfast was as advertised, an American Breakfast, the staff looking after that were always friendly as were the people looking after the cleaning of the room. The staff at the front desk were also very friendly and helpful.

I wish the staff were more knowlegdable about locations and facilities nearby the hotel vicinity.

Rooms are SUPER tiny, toilet and shower are together, when u think about it having a shower and the whole toilet get wet. Tv in room was good, bed was tiny and no room to put ur luggage No windows in room, feels like a jail cell. Location was good to MRT

For city like Singapore, we only need a clean comfy bed to sleep. Fragrance Selegie really provides these needs. Although bedroom and bathroom is small, it is good for a short stay because price is relatively not expensive.

Definitely the smallest ensuite double bedroom you are likely to meet on your travels

Hotel room is small, but bigger than that of Hotel 81 Selegie, located a few doors away on the same row. For business travellers on a week-long stay, lack of cupboard to store your work shirts may prove to be one form of inconvenience to the hotel guest. Internet access in room, payable by cash only is just unacceptable. What if the traveller is short on cash? The excuse that the internet service is provided by a 3rd party organisation does not help things. Breakfast is a simple affair, and while taste wise there is not much to complain about, portion-wise it just did not fill me up enough sometimes. My beef with Singapore hotels is always in the pricing. The minute the industry rectify this matter, then more good comments can be offered in return.

Place is clean. Rooms are quite small especially for twin-sharing. Very good location to MRT and Sim Lim Square.
