Regarding activities and sights around the Hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel is situated very close to the major attractions, museums and restaurants.

Discovering London - The Big Bus open top bus tour. This is the easiest and most economical option for tours of the city. This is an open top double-decker bus, departing every 15 minutes during the day from 8:30am. There are 2 stops very close to the Hotel from where you can catch the Big Bus. This is the 'Hop-On/Off' tours. You may hop on/off as many times as you desire. The tickets are valid for 24 hours from the time you first scan the ticket. There are 3 major lines which cover the entire city of London. Depending on the bus routes you chose, there is a running commentary from a recording or from a guide. There is also a boat tour on the River Thames included in the ticket price. Tickets for this tour do not need to be booked in advance and can be obtained at the concierge desk during your stay with us.

Private Blue Badge tour guide - We use a great private tour company called 'British Tours' that can arrange professional 'Blue Badge' driver/guides of London. Each guide is professionally trained, very friendly and experts in various aspects of London and its outside areas (History, Architecture, Military, Royalty, fun facts, etc.). Each guide can adapt the tour to suit your individual requirements and offer insights (and entry into the most popular sights including Tower of London and Westminster Abbey) and offer a London By Night unique visit. The guide will meet you at the Hotel or where convenient for you, for a meet-and-greet and discuss the day's plan. You may chose to do the tour by car or by foot.

By walk - Discovering London by foot is amazing. There are walking tours organized which are always very interesting. The tours are mainly themed and cover specific areas of London. They are very popular, there is no need to book and you would meet with your guide and group outside a tube station at a specific time (http://www.walks.com).

A 'must walk' (on your own) would be the South Bank, from Westminster Bridge to the Tate Modern you will have an mpressive view of the River Thames and witness a blend of Ancient and Modern architecture which is quite characteristic of London.

- By Boat - There are boats departing Westminster Pier (close to Big Ben & 30 minutes' walk from the hotel). The boats are a lot of fun, they can take you to the Tower of London (25 minutes) or alternatively you could go all the way to Greenwich (40 minutes, http://www.citycruises.com).
