The Thorold/St. Catharines area is a wonderful alternative to the hustle, bustle and crowds of the tourist area of Niagara Falls. Easy, short trip to the Falls and surrounding sites. The Sheraton offered a great location, great food and great service at a fraction of the Falls hotels.

Great rooms at a great price. Tried to stick me on the ground floor in an older smoking room that had been converted to no smoking. Beautiful upscale hotel near Brock University that was 3/4 empty during my stay in April 2009. Very friendly staff with great rooms and comfortable beds. Overall a great experience.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights April 4 - 6, 2009. This was our first trip to the Falls, this hotel is about 10 - 15 minutes away from the Falls attractions. Make sure you get good directions to the Falls and back to the Hotel. We got lost the first day. The hotel was very clean and the front desk workers were very nice and helpful. Not too many places to eat around the hotel, you have to drive further into St. Catherines to find dining and gas. The closet thing around the hotel was Tim Horton's and McDonalds. The Pool was smaller then the picture, the lights will go out at closing time.

The hotel rooms are all suites. We were in a standard with 2 double beds & two T.V and that easily accommodates 3 adults. Bedroom has its own door. Couch appeared to be very new as the cushions were a little hard. Huge work space. There was a fridge and microwave. Bathroom has to have been one of the cleanest I have been in. Tub surround was spotless, counter was sparkling brand new condition. After a 5 hour car ride I wanted to relax in the hot tub which is not the greatest condition. It is a outdoor hot tub used inside. Water temp was good, over chlorinated my eyes burned and it took the coloring out of my husbands swim trunks. The jets were very very weak. I got better pressure from the shower head in my room. I would stay here again just would not use the hot tub.

We have stayed at many Sheratons throughout the years, but the Four Points Sheraton St Catherine's was one was the most fabulous. The room that we received was a two room mini-suite with one king bed. We did not expect this for the price! We had a mini-microwave and refrigerator. There was a comfortable sofa and stuffed chair in addition to a full size desk with desk chair, high speed hook-up cable and telephone. Plenty of light and ambiance. The location was very good and we had only a little bit of trouble finding it because we were not familiar with the area. The in-house restaurant was fabulous. After being told that they were all out of the special and while I was thinking of an alternate entree, the waitress returned and said that the chef would prepare it for me. I was thrilled and the food was excellent.

The rooms are lage (two room suites) and the beds are great, the furniture in the living room could use an update but everything else was tops.

staff goes 200% for its guests! could have done a better job clearing the parking lot of snow This is my favorite hotel in Ontario. Clean, modern, every amenity you could wish for, unobtrusive staff who still go the extra mile for you -- and oh, those Sheraton beds!!

Room size (separate bedroom and large living/kitchen area). Grounds of hotel are not well kept.

It was a very nice looking hotel. We had gone to see Niagara falls and it was kind of far. The hotel was very nice and clean and the workers were very friendly. We had a blast.

Location to Niagara Falls. Some staff in lounge area are not polite. Hotel was clean, nice for a short stay. Staff was mostly polite. About a 15 min drive from Niagara Falls.

Excellent service. Nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Friendly, efficient, and helpful staff. The suite layout was good with the sleeping area separate from the living space. Beautiful hotel and excellent staff.

Clean. Excellent, friendly staff. Great room. Would return without hesitation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless. I will stay at this hotel every chance I get. I've stayed in over 20 hotels this year and this is, by far, the best.

Friendly staff frees WiFi, clean, comfortable beds, close to attractions. The restaurant food was extremely poor, no hot tub. Shuttle service was limited. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and I would stay there again. The price was great compared to hotels right near Niagara Falls. The location was only minutes away from attractions. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly. There was free hi speed internet included. Please don't eat at the restaurant. The staff was friendly but the food was way overpriced for the quality of the meal. Go elsewhere and get a better meal for half the price. The shuttle only ran from 7pm-11pm period. It dropped you off and you were stuck Downtown until 11pm great for single adults, bad for parents with small kids. Still overall it was a great hotel and I'd stay there again. The place looked brand new. Very well kept.

Spacious and clean. The shuttle bus to Niagara Falls took too long (well over an hour) as it's the first stop.

Staff friendly, go out of their way to help. Pool could have been kept up better. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff make this hotel great. Front desk and the staff in the restaurant were great.

Didn't spend enough time to comment. Nothing stands out. My 2 star experiences were not good.
