Great stay staff was great

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and large. The restaurant's breakfast was a little pricey. The hotel was very clean. They have a 3 par golf course on site which is good to practice your short game. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and would recommend it to our friends.

The Sheraton Four Points is a newly remodeled properties with nicely appointed rooms -- new carpet, updated bathroom, attractive linens. We are Starwood Frequent Travellers and we were upgraded to a suite by the very polite and professional front desk staff. We enjoyed our stay and so did our dog!

I generally stay at Sheratons, but the other choices closer in to San Diego were understandably booked up. Having come down for a wedding at the Naval Base I wanted a reliable hotel I could use as my base and then travel to the wedding, then stay an extra couple days while in the area. However, this hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Unless you have a car, there is absolutely nothing to do other than the pool. Even then, everything is a considerable drive. I would not recommend this hotel for families traveling with children, or who flew in. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance, and the hotel provides nothing other than the (very nice) pool. One night I ate at the restaurant, and in terms of value for money, it was not worth it. Again, if traveling with kids you would have to leave the premises. Additionally, although I was the only patron in the restaurant I had to wait for a menu, wait to have my order taken, and then sit with used plates. The hotel is also laid out most curiously. The door to the swimming pool is apparently a secret, since it says "Stairs" rather than "Pool", and only once one opens the door does the Pool sign become apparent. Same thing with the bar. The entrance is through a peculiar glass door which looks for all intents and purposes like someone's office. Outlets in my room did not work, and apparently they were "remodeling". Next time I will simply book earlier for one of the downtown hotels.

Bright, clean, neat landscaping. The in-room coffee and refrigerator were welcome. Noisy at times. Slamming doors echo throughout floor. For our purposes it was nice. I would stay again and recommend it.

Where do i start? i had booked the hotel room online about 2 months before our vacation with a king size bed and when we got to the hotel they said that they did not have a room with a king bed available. The room that we ended up staying in smelled like wet rug (i guess the air cooler was leaking) but we could not be moved to another room that same day. We had to stay the entire night with the stinky smell! The following day we were switched to another room (2 queen beds since king was not available) which was ok. that night when we were geting ready to go to bed we could hear our neighbor's tv loud and clear. It turns out the door that they have linked from our room to our neighbors room was opened and didn't lock. We called again to switch to another room since we did not feel safe with the door unlocked. They did refund us a night's stay but I would of rather had a nice vacation with no worries and inconveniences.

Under major renovations, saws and fumes until evening. New furniture, beds, linens, but bathroom tub did not hold water or turn off completely. Majority of cable TV channels were sports and news, very disappointing and cable box kept charging for movies we never watched. Housekeeping forgot to leave towels, phone, microwave and lamps were not plugged into outlets. The only mirror with an electrical outlet near was in the bathroom. Room service and toiletries in shop were extremely overpriced. Staff was very helpful, maps and written directions to local attractions; mall with variety of restaurant choices within 2 miles. Pool was well maintained, large hot tub.

The main foyer and hallways were in disarray as refurbishment of the hotel was happening. The room itself was OK though, clean and a good size. The maintenance noise did wake me in the morning though. I'm sure once the refurbishment is complete this will be a very nice hotel, however from where they were at this is likely to be a long time away!

Ice machines were hard to locate and far from room.

You do not want to stay at this hotel. The hotel is being renovated and they have bed, desk, chairs, cabinets, etc. in the hall ways! It will be a nice hotel when the renovations are complete but in the mean time, if you want a nice vacation, this is not the hotel. I felt like I was in the middle of a HGTV or Extreme Makeover episode. The entire place is a remodeling zone. They do a very, very poor job renovating while still accommodating the guest.

Although I did not need it, the room was wheel chair space and the bathroom was extra large to accomodate, with hair drier Room had T.V,small refrigerator, microwave oven, iron board and iron. computer hook-up. About (6)miles from downtown approx. 10 minutes depending on traffic. No restaurants close by, although the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Near the freeway. The hotel seem like a old mall complex.

For the rates We received a room with peeling wall paper on all walls, a toilet that my wife could not flush without me lifting the lid and jiggling the mechanism which was held with black duct tape. Can you imagine this for a 120.00 a night room? Tub looked 80 years old and lots of noise throughout the night..could not sleep.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. It was nice to have a courtesy shuttle to the San Diego Zoo. I ordered my prime rib medium rare, but it came out medium. The AC in the room was noisy. It was very conveniently located to all the sites I wanted to visit. The parking was free. The room was nice and clean. It was nice to have a computer terminal at the front desk to do inquiries.

Not close to downtown. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised to find provided many conveniences for me and my wife such as free internet, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, iron, hair dryer and free coffee & bottled water. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated and furnished. Bathroom was cozy but well supplied.

This hotel is very clean and accomodating and an excellent value. Our families will most certainly stay here for any future trips to the San Diego Area. It's close to Mission Bay, Old Town and other fun places to visit while in San Diego.
