We needed rooms at the last minute and the Four Points had a terrific price. It's a great location and the room was a very good size. Staff was helpful although the valets at the parking desk were totally disorganized and parking was very overpriced ($25 a night).

Nice beach access, lobby and lounge area were nice. Rooms were a little dingy and in need of renovations. Outrageous parking fees at the hotel $25.00, but overall not a bad location and a decent room although not what I consider Sheraton quality.

I was disappointed with the quality of this hotel for the price. I don't mind an older establishment, but it had a run-down, dirty feel. There were several hairs sticking to the back of our bathroom door. The elevator floor was covered with dirty carpet and the permit was expired. I paid for an oceanview room, only to have a huge crane from construction next door sitting in front of my window. I would not return here.

while booking over online travel website you receive 2 room options. if you book regular price, which in fact is not cheap either, you will receive a clean room with no window to open and no ocean to see. They put you back in what they call bayside, simply said to the main road side where you will hear the hotel's airconditioner and main traffic while trying to sleep. no reason to book a beach hotel. anyway a nightly charge of 25 USD puts on your budget for parking your car, no way out of this. and you havn't had any breakfast yet. Online travel website showed a deal of $ ***.-. In Reality they won't let you go away for that. What you pay is $*** a night for a standard quality level package with a beach view. For that price you don't need to book this old broken stile of what's branded with a sheraton, you may get it at Trump Towers' for that amount! i am very disappointed by online travel website guidance and hotel information catalogues, they let you do the work to explain how good in fact the hotel is. I am very disappointed by the staff, mostly immigrants from Jamaica to Brazil or whatever whose picture of a customer is not more than how to increase cost against value at every potential moment. and i am fed up of that nonsence talking of every single employee trying to get some tip, instead of delivering value. In general i will try to refrain from online website in the near future as a platform for bargains. and i will refrain from hotels like this that charge you for every piece of breethe.

This was a first time trip to the Miami area and the Four Points Sheraton. Overall, my fiance and I were very pleased with our hotel stay. Our hotel room was clean and well maintained. The staff promptly redressed the bed and replenished towels, etc. in the morning. The pool area was great, plenty of lounge chairs and places to relax. Hotel is located directly on an outstanding beach. A lot of people had their own umbrella or screen tents. This is a great hotel for couples and families that want a quiet, relaxing place and whose main ambition is to lounge, enjoy sun and ocean. Hotel staff attentive, nice and informative; they will help you find places to shop, eat, etc. if you want.

beds were very nice but had a wet feeling to them due to WET aircond and the corners of the rooms and bathrooms were dirty and the wall paper needed to be glued in some places. No balcony furnitures, so we couldn't sit on the balcony's after paying extra for ocean view. Breakfasts were horrible and expensive. American breakfast had no marmelade to the ONE piece of bread, no oj, no milk to the coffee. BUT the bartender was the BEST!!!!!!!

I enjoyed the pool area, and the beach was walking distance from the hotel. I did not like where our room was located where there was construction taking place. Overall the hotel was nice relaxing good with the family, the only problem was that it was just a little too far (walking distance) to south beach & parking in the hotel was expensive.

Chosen because of price and reputation of Four Points by Sheraton. Understood that we would have a non-refurbished room, but the room and the entire floor were rattier than expected. Staff was clueless about printing to the business center. Wine tasting a nice touch every afternoon 4-6, except on our last day when the F&B manager wasn't in, so they weren't serving because they didn't know which wine to serve! One elevator was down our entire stay, which meant long waits on the ground floor. This hotel is definitely a work in progress.

Our stay started off badly when we were assigned a moldy, smelly room whose air conditioner was broken for quite some time. We had to be assertive to get switched to another room. The lobby looked fine but the rooms showed their age and had not been refurbished for years. Many amenities were extra. This included parking for 18.00 a day and even the 75 cents for the USA Today newspaper, which is usually given freely by most hotels. The service was poor. There was no one to talk to. When I asked to speak to a manager they refused to let me meet her. We chose to leave after one night but were charged a 100 ransom penalty before they would let us check out. We cannot recommend this hotel. Be smart. Look elsewhere.

Four Points by Sheraton Miami Beach was not what I had expected. The complaints were- the noisy Collins Ave.(get a room on the other side of the building) and the maid service was often forgetful (washcloths, towels etc)The number one complaint was the broken elevator which seemed to have been broken quite a while. This led to long waits. Luckily we were on the lower floor so we walked down to the lobby rather than wait the 10 minutes. The Pluses far out weighed these. The room was very clean and the beds excellent. The pool was great as was the proximity to the Boardwalk aand the beach. The Restaurant was very good as were the bars. I would definitely go back here and recommend this moderately priced hotel.

Location/proximity to beach. Elevators were inadequate. Lobby and public areas were very nice and plush. Restaurant food value was poor, way over-priced. 3 entrees and a couple drinks were $130 plus (overpriced!). Rooms were small and hallways narrow due to age of hotel. Bathroom and closet space was fine. Decor was geat downstairs but room and hallway looked in need of update.

I read the other reviews about this hotel and was worried about booking it...and once I got there, I should have listened to what other people said. Our room was tiny...the two double beds were about 2 feet away from each other, and there was no room for a rollaway. We asked if there was anything else available and we were upgraded to a bigger room with room for an uncomfortable rollaway. Housekeeping was unsatisfactory- soap and cups were not replenished. This hotel and surrounding hotels are around nothing- no fast food places, no souvenier shops, no stores. There is a Walgreens within walking distance..but it is several blocks away. You must get a rental car if you stay in this area because you will have to drive the 2 miles to South Beach to see anything. Even then there are hardly any fast food places or touristy shops. We walked to South Beach along the boardwalk, but it was about 30 blocks away. The staff at the hotel were not particulary friendly. The beach is pretty, not too crowded when we went. Beware of topless sunbathers if you bring children here.

I was a very family friendly hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only drawback was in the bathroom that was kept clean by the staff but the bathroom fixtures where constantly dripping and no power in the toilet flushing.

It was right off the beach. It was unclean and the staff was surly. The lobby was deceptively opulant, but as soon as I got off the one working elevator, my stomach and heart sank. The carpeting and walls were dirty and in need of cleaning or a new paint job. The carpeting in my room was just as dirty. And worst of all, the bathroom wasn't entirely clean, which is a deal breaker for me.

well we didnt spend that much time in the hotel but the time we did spend it was a great time. i love the set-up of the hotel the people was wonderful too. i had a very great time both.

The ease at check in and ease at finding a car service to my destinations. The construction to the elevators and the dated rooms, the lack of obvious Sheraton standards. I was totally dissatisfied from the first moments after my check in. The hotel was undergoing elevator upgrades and a wait time to ride the broken and nasty service elevator was up to 15 minutes. My room was small, cramped and faced a construction wall. The travelers menu of needed amenities in a business grade hotel was less than impressive. I would neverstay at this hotel again.

This hotel was one of the worst I have stayed in so far. The room had a stench that kept me up all night; the area had me afraid to try and sleep at all even after they had cleaned the room; the elevators were a death trap; and they are so far from resturants and shopping that it was impossible to relax after a hard day of business and conferencing.

The location was excellent, right on the beach, close to South beach, bal harbor, and many other attractions. The room was large and comfortable, clean and with all that i ,as a business traveler needed. The hotel staff was very professional and pleasant to deal with. i recommend this hotel as a ggod value for the money.

The accommodation was pleasing. I would stay at this hotel again, but I loved theprice. Parking cost was too expensive. Staff was unable to answer questions about many things. No refrigerator or microwave oven. This hotel I recommend because of the clean bed linens and luxury pillows. The accommodations I have no complaints about, the staff was not as helpful. One thing I truly did not like the bathrooms had no fan ventilation, after taking shower the bathroom was left very steamy. No Microwave oven or refrigerator was a minus. The public areas were wonderful. Having internet access was also a plus.
