I was not impressed with the breakfast selection, nor with the overly high price for said selection. I was however, very impressed with a young man named [...] who went far beyond on multiple occasions to make my trip work better. This is a young man who has made the right career choice.

Staff was friendly especially the doormen. Great location. Hotel was in a great location. They should have someone who is really good at giving directions and information. Staff tried to give directions but it was often confusing and sometimes inaccurate. Also there was a very strong smell of disinfectant in lobby that was overpowering.

My overnight stay ot the sheraton was very good the rooms were clean and the staff was freindly the weight room was small but did the job, the pool and the jucuzzi looked spacious and inviting. North Michigan was just a few walking minutes away from shopping and over abundace of starbucks Ha! . the only thng negative about the stay was the absurd price to park at the sheraton for a one night stay dialing in at 34 dollars. but overall I would stay at the sheraton in the future. Oyeah if you want to just chill and order in.... Order from Buca De Pepos, just a small order off there menu fed three people the food was delicoius!

Easy to get to by train and just a few blocks from station. Surrounded by good food and entertainment. Walked to jazz club and Blues club in complete safety. found the new and trendy beside timeless landmarks. hotel staff were knowlegeble and eager to help. cabs are moderately priced and easy to get. stands head and shoulders above the chicago hotel I usually choose. The room was very comfy. the jacuzzi is more therapeutic then a weeks worth of massage. rated 12 on scale of 1-10.

We stayed in a room with 2 beds and a sofa-sleeper. The room was comfortable and clean. Ahough the two beds were just full size (maybe), definitely not queen size, we had plenty of room for 5 of us to stay. The coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator made it convenient to not have to go out for breakfast in the morning. There was a full service grocery store (Jewell Osco) within a few blocks, if one wants to purchase a few a.m. staples. The hotel employess were all very helpful and friendly, from the bellman to the desk personnel to the housekeeper. There were many great restaurants and shopping within a block or easy walking distance, and a cab ride to the Oriental theater was about $10 or less. Parking was convenient, and at $34 a day with in and out priveleges, it was a reasonable price for Chicago. Oh, and the garage was well lit and heated! (The parking spaces were very tight.) The hotel was tastefully decorated, modern but warm. We stayed at the Hyatt last year, and definitely like the convenience, cleanliness and comfort of this Sheraton 4 Points better!

My husband and I (from Madison, WI) were meeting up with a friend who flew in from California to meet his girlfriend's parents (in Chicago). So we drove over and picked a hotel that was within walking distance of her parents apartment. For the amount of money we paid, I would've expected not only a good location (historic Gold Coast) but also maybe a free continental breakfast or glass as opposed to disposable cups in the rooms. It seemed very average. The room was clean, the service was good, and the bed was comfortable. The feather pillows were lacking feathers and VERY uncomfortable. We pretty much had everything we needed to sleep overnight (which was as long as we stayed). But I felt like I had to steal the bed linens and the towels to even come close to being worth the price paid (of course we didn't). If you are just looking for the basics, go somewhere else and get them cheaper.

We stayed one night after going to a concert at Soldier Field. This hotel was MUCH quieter than the last one I stayed in. It was also very clean! The staff was welcoming and very helpful even late at night!

The location was phenominal; close to the train and great shopping! The pillows were really skimpy. But my fault that I didn't ask for better pillows. I have already recommended the hotel to a colleague at work. The hotel was very clean and quiet. My only complaint was too thin pillows and the staff recommended next time I simply ask for fuller pillows. The staff was very nice, not pushy. Perfect.

In a word: basic Location is great, prices great (especially when running specials with free parking), and is a great place for families with kids. That said, this has to be the most soul-less hotel I've ever stayed in. If you're looking for any atmosphere at all, look elsewhere.

Great location near shopping and dining. The cost of parking! Fantastic hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago near many attractions, dining and shopping. Doorman was wonderful to my 5 year old daughter and the staff went out of their way to make all of us welcome each time we entered the lobby. Great hotel!

Location was close to everything, restaurants, public transportation. Very close to Michigan Ave. We visited the Field Museum, Art Institute, Science Museum, Shedd Aquaruim. We were walking distance to Chicago ChopHouse, a wonderful steak restaurant. Hard Rock was only a few blocks away. We were able to walk to Millenium Park and see the famous "Bean" sculpture and the interactive sculptures as well.

Location! Great area, close to everything, friendly staff! It was dated, and we were unable to find the restaurant in it. The hotel is slightly dated and could use a remodel. We didn't spend much time in the room. The front desk staff was very helpful, the directed us how to get places, suggested tourist destinations, good restaurants, etc. The valet was exceptionally friendly as well. We can not say enough about the location. We were close to everything!

We arrived at Science & Industry Museum at 10:00am on 12/29/08 and stayed all day. We then checked into Four Points Hotel. We went to Giradino"s for Pizza Supper. Then back to the Hotel Swimming Pool, we swam from 7 till 10. Grandpa & 3 grandchildren had a fantastic time, swiming in the pool then enjoying the suana pool, we were exhausted when the pool closed. Everyone slept soundly . At 8:00 am we went to the resturant for breakfast, the fresh fruit & waffles & juices were delicious. The grandkids remarked, all of it was scrumptious. We spent the 30 th at Navy Pier Winterwonderland. We were impressed with the Resuurant Menu and how courteous and accomidating the personel were.

Great location and service makes this hotel a "can't miss" when traveling with friends or just as a couple! Michigan Ave. is just a block away and you can walk to almost anything around. Concierge was phenomenal! Eat at Maggiano's (just get the half-orders...huge plates) and skip breakfast at the hotel...overpriced and low quality.

Very friendly hotel staff. This hotel charges for coffee and tea in the restaurant. Coffee and tea should be free for guests.
