Close to the airport. Airport shuttle. We had a late flight into LAX and were really late arriving at the hotel. The staff was very pleasant both on check in and check out. If I have the occasion to travel to LA again I will be staying at this hotel and I have already recommended it to a family member.

The hotel did undergo some remodeling, but it was to the lower level/main entrance. The rooms are not what the photos show. All windows in the rooms are locked shut, and the bathroom had no exhuast fan, so the the room was very stuffy. Relative to remodeling, the beds in the room were updated and very comfortable. If your a business traveler and in need of Internet Access "High Speed", you might want to consider staying some place else like the Hyatt LAX or the Radisson LAX. The Sheraton upgraded from dial up to High Speed 2 years ago and they have been having problems every since. During my stay, their Internet System "FAILDED". I found out that the internet system at this hotel fails all the time! The staff in the hotel were very friendly and warm, but they all couldn't look me straight in the face, when I asked them how often their internet system fails. My room was some what clean, but it did have some mold/mildew in the tub. The new bed with down pillows, was truly the highlight relative to my room.

Me and my family stayed on this hotel for a week. The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed. Our room looks like was recently updated with new carpet, painting, Bed and furnitures. This hotel is undergoing a whole renovation, once finished it will be even a nicer place to stay.

I think I have said it all..good place to land after a long flight..We'd been on 6 planes in a week, and had 2 more to get on, so we crashed here and slept extremely well. Love the beds you sink into..wrapped in comfort like a mother's love..only drawback was there werent good restaurants in walking distance but the cafe downstairs had great food..

Good breakfast. Not real friendly front desk. This hotel was in a great location and it was clean for those are the important factors for me.

Very small room. I was given one on the 2nd floor - I suppose in exchange for my booking thru one of the travel websites ? . No full length mirror or any length for dressing for business day. Only the one in the bathroom. Also - that carpet in the hallways of the 2nd floor was distrubingly grimy and in need of immediate replacement. I think I saw spills from 10 years ago stained into that thing all along my walk to my room. Not a good impression before even going into my room. That said, the lobby is very nice and comfortable however. Great hang out / gathering area off the coffee stand - one of the best I have seen. The parking is also easy to access and a decent rate for hotel parking. Also the gym there is very nice relative to some of the other hotels along the airport strip. One issue I had is the absolute lack of service / zip that they had in the lobby bar / restuarant. Not many people there really - but in my over 1 hour stay having drinks and dinner, not once did the waiter come and check on me. I had to flag him down each time I needed something. It honestly seemed like he had to jump in the back an make the food - there was so much time when he was away. The breakfast cafe however had outstanding service in the mornings. Maybe my experience in the bar was remote. But it was honestly very frustrating.

i dont know where people say this isn't a nice hotel. it was very clean and the check in and check out procedures were the best i have ever seen. the staff is friendly and are there to help no matter what the issue. i have stayed in 100's of hotels and this by far is one of the best. so don't listen to the ones that are idiots this place is great...........

Close to airport. Bed sheets were not changed andshower was not clean. Would not recommend this hotel to someone.

My overall experience was good. I only had two problems -- parking Saturday evening was difficult as there was a party and no parking had been assigned for guests staying at the hotel. The other was - the hotel was a non smoking hotel. They had no rooms assigned for smokers and they posted a sign in the room stating a * charge would be assigned to your credit card if signs of smoking in your room.

Lobby was nice. But room was not pleasant to stay in. It didn't feel clean and the bathroom needed work. I would not stay here again.

I called orbitz to verify that if the hotel would need a cash deposit upon arrival. Orbitz said no because i had prepaid for the room. Well I had lost my wallet during my trip and the hotel would not let me check into my room without a $50 dollar deposit.I asked to speak to the manager and they refused to speak to me. They were inconsiderate. So I had to borrow the cash from a friend. In addition they charge $14.00 per night for parking which orbitz did not state. The bar/tap house is not what they make it out to be. It's small and just as ordinary as a local bar. The rooms were small and there were food trays left in the hall ways for a full 24 hrs that had bugs crawling on the left over food. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH ORBITZ ANYMORE!!!!!!!! DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL.

Nothing. Staff, rates, policies, rooms, safety, cleanliness. It was completely awful.

Because of lost luggage, arrived at the hotel about 8 pm. At check-in requested a late checkout and was told I could stay till 2pm. As my plane didn't leave till midnight, explained I wanted to stay till about 8 pm. Was told I could pay an extra $ but had to leave at 6 pm. Tired and angry, made my way to my room to leave my luggage and have a quick wash before heading to the restaurant. Having travelled from the east coast, my body clock was telling me it was about 11 pm and I was extremely hungry. I waited 20 mins to be served (because I was a woman travelling alone? A man who arrived a few minutes after me, was ordering his dessert as my meal arrived) and another 30 before my meal arrived. The salmon was covered with barbecue sauce and my "vegetables" (a couple of spears of asparagus on a couple of slices of tomato) were covered in melted cheap cheese. Returning to my room for a shower and bed, I was disheartened by the brown stained non-slip dots and the shabbily mended tiles above the bath. The shower tap was loose and to keep the water temp warm, it had to be held. Very difficult when trying to wash your hair at the same time. The bed was clean and comfortable. TV channel choice was limited.

pros: proximity to LAX, 24 hr shuttle, okay bed, rental car facility across the street cons: old facility, bathroom fixtures outdated (but functional), no central air (18th century aircon in room ! ) Passable for an overnite stay. Do not stay if on vacation, or expect to use the hotel services a lot, not a comfortable place.

This hotel is good however we were not expecting to pay 14 dollars a day for parking there isn't very much around this area but car rental agencies and other hotels. the gift shop was never opened for an antiacid. I got up very early to use the computer to look for things to do around but was constantly reminded that there was other person waiting after five minutes of use. Next time I will consider another hotel. It would help if they had a continental breakfast or something being that restaurants are not close for a light breakfast.

The pillows and locations. Getting food poisoning on my last night after eating at the restaurant. Rooms were good, and you get what you pay for. Location is great if going to Disneyland. Pool area was great.

My trip lasted about a week. The hotel was clean, quiet and well priced. No complaints.

Stayed here while looking at colleges. Though the common areas of hotel were under renovation, our room was clean and the beds comfortable. We did't spend much time in the hotel as we were looking around the city and checking out schools. The staff was helpful when we asked questions and pointed us in the direction of some places we might want to check out. The hotel hosts religious gathering on Sunday so there is a lot of activity and many discussion groups going on throughout the hotel.
