The hotel was pretty average. Our bed was nice - very comfy... But the carpets were stained and I wasn't that impressed with the beachside bar. Our drinks were watered down. Also, if you come back after 10pm, good luck finding a good parking spot. We ended up walking a ways each night. We love to go to Destin but we won't be staying there again. On the phone, the front desk wasn't friendly when I called to confirm we'd be 10pm checking in.. but when we arrived, the front desk was very polite. I'd rate the experience a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

The bartender at the outside bar of the hotel was amazing and the food was great . Not possible in 20 words or less. Make sure you speak to a manager if there was any issue because no one else had a clue about what was going on. The rates at the hotel were cheaper. The hotel's bar located outside near the beach was amazing, service was some of the best I had ever seen, plus the food was great.

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. We had a room on the 6th floor overlooking the gulf. The view was spectacular. The people at the front desk were friendly and accomodating. The room was very nice with a balcony and was extremely clean and well kept. I definitely would go there again if I was in the area. Great place to stay. We were in Florida for 8 days and this was by far the nicest place we stayed and the price was reasonable.

Four Points is in a great location within walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. I was a bit mislead about the hotel itself as they do not show pictures of the garden view or parking lot view rooms. I had assumed all rooms were in the 7 story portion of the hotel. The rooms are extremely clean for a beach hotel; nicely done with a great shower!

Although the orbitz description of the four points says it is ON the beach.. it really isn't. The room we booked was closer to the highway but I guess we got what we paid for. Don't get me wrong, it was only a 2 minute walk to the beach but itsa just misleading when they say ON the beach. Our view was of the parking lot but we didn't care much because we were on the beach most of the time. This location in Fort Walton was great because everything we did was at max 15 minutes away. The room was pretty average.. not too fancy but not a dump either. The only thing that really bugged me was the shower. It is a stand up shower with only a 1/2" high edge to block the water from the rest of the bathroom. Every time we showered, the water would go outside of the shower and all over the bathroom floor. We ended up using about 15 towels to soak up the water for our 3 day stay, but the hotel staff was very nice. We kept asking for towels and they were nice enough to hand us as much as we wanted. So overall, we would definitely stay there again.

Great view. Friendly staff. Food service was horrible. Wait staff very unfriendly and was not very helpful. Great location for a romantic weekend for 2 or for a family of 6. 5-star service, but the eating facilities were very poor. Horrible staff with room service and dining area. Food not very good at all.

Front desk, good customer service Room service, good Coctail Lounge, customer service was not good. I was not acknowledged, I had to get their attention. That is why I give the score of 95 instead of 100. I will stay at this hotel again in the Fall of 2009.

I really loved this hotel and will go back for another visit. The location was great- right on the beach and next to the boardwalk with lots to do. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to pamper us. The room was clean and we had a great view of the beautiful garden. The price was incredibly reasonable for all the amenties in the hotel. I have already recommended this hotel to friends.

It was at the beach and had very nice gardens. It is anti-smoker. The hotel was nice but if you smoke you may want to stay someplace else.

The WEB Site states the Hotel is directly on the beach. The photos on the WEB shows the Hotel is located on the beach with photos from the room showing the beach! They put us in the old "motel" by the road!

The location was great and the hotel had some up to date items. But the hotel itself seemed to be a little dated. I knew that sounds trivial but for the price I expected a little more.

Plenty of parking on site. Sprinklers will spray you while on sidewalks at night. Suite was very nice, with comfortable beds. Enjoyed having pay per view in room with new movies still at the theater. Loved the breakfast buffet.

Forgot to cancel my reservation. Absolutely my fault. I called in hopes of a refund, credit, voucher or anything. They told me "we can't do anything because it was an internet reservation". That would have been nice to know ahead of time!

The carpet was torn and awful. I didn't want to walk on it. The bed was somewhat comfortable. That was the only thing that was half way decent. The a/c didn't work very well. I would NEVER stay here again! It is at best a half star.

It was close to the beach and the staff was very helpful. There were not may family restaurants in the area, we had to drive to Destin a couple of times. The room was very clean, the courtyard and pool areas were very nice. I especially enjoyed the area just outside the room with the chairs and table where you could sit in the evening and enjoy the Gulf breeze.

location by far was the best asset of this hotel, located right on the beach within walking distance. worst thing about this hotel-did not like the spring break-like behaviors of some of the guests, there were a group of people hanging out at the pool smoking and drinking alcohol, blaring music from their radio, they weren't there the second day though. room was clean. they did not have an elevator in the building we were staying at, did not like that. all in all, hotel was just OK.don't think i'll be back though. rather pay a little more for a better hotel next time.

We visited during what was clearly the off-season for this hotel. There were almost no other guests which was nice. The first room we were put in had a very serious ant problem. Ants were crawling up the trim boards of the room and into our stuff. When I told the front desk about the problem, they immediately moved us to the room next door. I don't expect to get any more than what I paid for, but I wouldn't exactly consider it going above and beyond. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfy, and the balconies were quaint, but I personally do not feel like a hotel that is open year round should make it so apparent that they slack during their less busy season.

It was available on Memorial Day Weekend. Air conditioner was not working in one room. Gap under door 3/4". We were put in the infant/toddler wing of the hotel unknowingly. A screaming crying child was walked in the hallway at 0300 to calm it down instead of kept in the room. There were no available rooms to move us. The hotel was overbooked.
