It was a nice stay with the exception of being awoken at 8 am by the cleaning staff

Location near airport and I-95. Hotel staff was not uniformly as well trained as I would have expected. Not always guest centered. An excellent business person's hotel. Guest rooms have very good workspace, outlets where you need them etc. Meeting rooms and restaurant attractive. Parking very convenient in and out and free.

This hotel was a disaster. The hotel was under construction. I can respect they want to remodel the hotel to attract more visitors, however inform your clients before they book a room. I called several times yet, no one informed me of this situation. I was disappointed that they didn't offer a suite room, however struggling through the night I realized they didn't offer much. The room was on the 8th floor. The floor was also a mess of un-finished remodeling work. I entered the bathroom after a long drive to find the toilet had been used and not cleaned! I was disgusted. I flushed and moved on to shower. The shower also had hair on the tub; I am completely grossed out at this point and called nicely to the operator who then said they would refund my bill X amount of dollars due to the inconvenience. I am dissatisfied with this resolution. They could have offered me a new room. Money doesn’t help the matter. The signage was horrible, and due to the construction I had to walk on the street to get to the entrance. I also had to walk up a flight of stairs through open construction zone (wires hanging every where nails and boards all over the place.) The website on my company travel link showed ten pictures of the remodeled version of this hotel; however they didn't represent the actual hotel. They are pictures of the finished hotel, not where I was staying. The web photos show a very elegant place to stay, however when I checked in the floor were freezing and not complete! There wasn't a fitness center as stated on the web. This reservation was a server mistake on my part, however it doesn't excuse bathroom or the construction.

We have stayed at this hotel and you cannot beat the location, the rooms and the restaurant. The negatives are a bit picky, but at these prices one expects a little more care for the details. There was sawdust in the elevator from someone drilling into the wall to hang a sign and it was not vacuumed up. The restaurant won't allow healthier substitutions on their menu vegetable or salad instead of potatoes, etc. Little things that would have increased my overall rating, but I would definitely stay here again.

View of the airport runway. No maid servicetwo days in a row. This hotel charged our card 114 dollars for no reason. After about 20 minutes on the phone talking to the front desk, the issue was dealt with by refunding us back in cash. After questioning how we would be reimbursed for our hassle, we were given free dinners in the hotel restaurant. Our room was slightly dirty upon arrival. Maid service made the beds but did nothing else on day two. On day three, the maid did not bother coming into our room at all. At 7pm when we arrived back to the unmade room, and after insisting three times that we needed clean beds and towels. Someone finally came up, made our beds and gave us towels. We had to insist on a lousy round of drinks for free while waiting in the lobby for our room to be cleaned. The staff was very kind during all of their mistakes. I would highly recommend that people pay a deposit in cash, as apparently this hotel likes to make random charges on your card for no reason.

"Nice hotel. Bad location though, not very close to the stores I wanted to shop in. I never heard the loud planes another person was talking about but I don't agree with having animals staying in motels. Kept hearing dogs barking. Parking was a real pain. They should have a separate area for hotel guests that don't have to validate their parking each time."

"My husband and I must travel to Bangor frequently. We have stayed in almost all of the hotels/motels, but we find ourselves coming back to the Four Points again and again. True, the public areas could use a bit of refurbishing, but it is our understanding that they are in for a major renovation next spring. The staff knows us by name and is always so thoughtful. We love this place!"

The rooms are spacious with room for a cot if necessary. Very comfortable beds with new clean bedding and new towels. Very nice. Lots of fuffy pillows. Appreciated little touches like free lollipops at frontdesk. Friendly, helpful staff. Just 5mins away from shopping centre. Parking a little confusing (to your left just before hotel entrance) but you get your ticket validated each time you go out so it's free. Wouldn't hesitate to go again.

"I, too, am compelled to write after the original review. My husband and I have lived in the Bangor area for 20 years. We occasionally get away for a quiet weekend. After staying at all hotels, we found this to be the best - the beds are superior, the room service excellent, staff very helpful, rooms quiet. I write from experience - superb hotel!"

Cleanliness of rooms and quality of rooms. Had a hard time finding front entrance as we weren't coming for the airport.

"After reading reviews I felt compelled to write. I have stayed here twice. Beds and bedding are all new and really great. I do think general repairs to the building are probably needed but it did not impact my stay. Elevator carpet is dirty and it smells like machine oil. I had a broken heater but they immediately moved me to a new room. Nice staff, very pleasant, room was clean. Room service was excellent and restaurant was great also."

The decoration of the room. It was a great location for air travelers as it was connected to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The linens were nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Compact - quick and easy to get to everything. No refrigerator or microwave. Very clean and comfortably appointed.

Very cold atmosphere. This hotel has absolutely no signage. There were no directions leading to the lobby or to the parking lot. We walked around the building twice before we met an employee out for a smoke. When I complained to the desk clerk about the lack of signs, he said "we'll have to get to that". He was in no way helpful or pleasant. When I was about to leave, I decided to make another attempt at getting my statement. This time, she made a print. I would recommend Priceline as my previous stay at the Hilton was excellent.

Attractive rooms. Noisy guests, small pool. Our first night we were kept awake by unattended children in a nearby room until 1:30 in the morning. The staff is very nice and the room was clean. Signs pointing to the entrance from the parking lot would be helpful.
