Date of Stay: April, 2009

Italian RestaurantThe food in the hotel was rather poor. The breakfast's were edible but expensive. However due to a busy day we decided to eat in the hotel's Italian restaurant, there were 9 of us in total, but the only ones in the restaurant. The food was very poor indeed, none of us could eat the meals. The staff did not ask how our meal was, and did not question the full plates being returned. This was the hotel's only let down.

Excellent stay, this hotel is provided great service and the concierge was always willing to help with any request. The fitness center could use some more updated equipment. Pool was small, but we didn't use it as we were gone most of the time.

Nice new hotel, location is ok. The abr is average but a new pub is under construction and that may liven the place up. I couldn't get cell phone coverage in my room though.

It was very expensive but I guess it was just expensive in all of Dubai the weekend we stayed! Other than that the rooms were comfortable and quite spacious and breakfast was pretty good too.

Great sense of arrival. Wonderful restaurant with un ique food fare, burgers, spaghetti, scottish oatmeal with berries, pork chops and great wines. The beds were incredibly luxurious

A hotel to rememberMy husband and |I have stayed in numerous hotels over the years, and can honestly say that this rates as one of the best. We stayed in the Preferred room which was very spacious and beatifully fitted out, The complimentary water, tea, coffee, toiletries etc., were all regularly replaced . We found the staff to be very efficient and very polite, nothing was too much trouble. The only negative was the breakfast we had on our last morning, we had booked room only but decided to treat ourselves, as at £16 each it wasn't cheap. Unfortunately the plates were cold, and the eggs, bacon, beans etc., only lukewarm. However this would certainly not put us off going back to this hotel

The staff we all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great. Nice and clean. The bed was heaven. Free internet in the lobby but in the room. The lounge was an excellent place to relax and get a drink.

The hotel was in an area under construction so not exactly park like - the facilities were good however we did not eat any meals at the hotel - it would have been better to have had a package were breakfast is included - like most hotels in Dubai Internet in the room is charged at a high rate but there is wireless in lobby - but was painfully slow when other people were on it - was brilliant at 2.00 in the morning - the staff were pleasant and really tried to help - cost of food in the coffee shop was expensive - in room only two small coffee sachets so if you drink cofee (and I drink a lot of coffe) would suggest you take your own - but basically a nice place for a few days even if a bit out of the way - but then again Dubai is so big anywhere is out of the way - would suggest booking tours on-line and not through tourist desk at hotel as they have limited range and is expensive.

The Four Points Sheraton in Dubai is very nice. The staff was ready to please and help out. We enjoyed this hotel very much. The only problem with the hotel is that they have no rooms with two double beds. They only have three singles or one king in each room. It was very comfortable and clean. The workout room and the pool were fantastic. We will stay there again next time as we go to Dubai. The price was certainly the best to be found in that city.

Vey helpful and friendly staff, we came in Dubai with an early flight and were able to check in before 08:00 am in the morning. They changed a biljet of 50 DHRs for free after I accidently teared it to pieces. Location is OK but the building is not to stylish from the outside. The swimmingpool is somewhat small. The rooms are very big and realy modern (refurbished in 2005 I guess).

This is a downtown hotel so expect to take taxi's pretty much anywhere you need to go. But they are really easy to get. Expect to pay 20-40 Dh to get to the beach. About 20min walk to the 'old' Dubai with loads of restaurants and shops (taxi won't take you, traffic too bad!). Convenient for the airport and has quite a nice rooftop pool. Really not a bad base to explore Dubai.

The Hotel is situated close to the Standard Charter Bank and many other five star hotels,as well as very interesting shopping in walking distance. The Hotel is well managed and ideal for the long stay businessman as well as for families alike.

This hotel is of the better hotels I have stayed at in the Middle East, whereas in my business one sees many. The net for me is of great importance and here it is reasonable and operates excellent. For long stays the rooms are well equiped and the gym is all new equimpment and of plenty. Lots to do in walking distance and only 10-35 min to down town depending on traffic, with a standard charter bank next door for banking needs.

This hotel was in a great location for getting around Dubai and had regular shuttle bus to sister hotel. The staff were excellent always willing to help with a smile. Rooms were very comfortable with huge bed!! Rooftop pool was a treasure as very few of hotel guests actually used it during our stay. Only thing that this hotel lacks in my opinion is a spa. With this added facility it really would make this hotel a real gem.

Only the internet/business center is very slow computers and printer capabilities.... that was frustrating. Also the Taxi services are very limited. Please arrange for a driver personally.... that way you are not subject to one hour or more waits for taxis.... really, it is true. The hotel had one restuarant and the food was very good, buffet style with a huge variety of goods, American to Dubai local favorites. All and all very pleasant and the room was very modern and comfortable.... the pool area was pleasant as well.... I would go back if on business... if for pleasure I would stay on the water......

The only thing I did not like alot was lobby. I like big lobbies so I can hang out at nights. but the value for money was very good.
