Coalbrookdale InnBecause of a mix-up over the bookings, we didn't stay at the Foundry Masters, but at the Coalbrookdale Inn - also owned by Dan and Dawn, and just a few yards along the road. We'd had long journeys to get there, and welcomed the coffee we were offered on our arrival. This was typical of the friendly and helpful service. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast choice was good, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. We would happily stay there again.

An enjoyable stay. Very comfortable bed & good bathroom. Owners very pleasant. The only problem we could see was going up the road for breakfast could be a prolem if the weather was bad. We had good weather & enjoyed our walk up the road. Recommended.

A real findWe stayed here for 2 nights. We had an extremely comfortable, well furnished, clean room with a large bathroom and a view over Coalbrookdale. There was parking on site so we left the car and caught the Gorge Connect bus which serves all the 10 museums in the Gorge and which runs past the door. It was a 20 minute walk from the Foundry Masters House to Ironbridge along a wonderful wild garlic lined road called Paradise and the Severn riverside. We had our meals at the Coalbrookdate Inn 300 yds up the road although the owners would have provided breakfast at the house. The food was superb. We will certainly be back.

The Foundry Masters House is one of those places you know you will return to. All aspects of the accommodation are excellent, particularly the en-suite bathrooms. I wish our own were as splendid! The house is part of the Coalbrookdale Arms set-up, and the food at the Arms is very good - we dined there on two evenings of our three. Dawn's Baileys Cheesecake is a revelation - positively the best ever. If you have any room left for it, that is. Dawn and Danny, who run the Coalbrookdale Arms, and the Foundry Masters House, are very friendly, efficient, and seem always to have time for a chat. We'll be back.

B&B in quite areaI have stayed in the Georgian superior room which has a nice cosy bed and a huge granite finished bathroom. This B&B is located opposite to a working foundary and sometimes you hear some loud noises. There was a free wireless broadband. Breakfast was served in a public house cum inn located 100m from this property. Apparently both are owned by same person.

Highly RecommendedGreat service - made you feel really welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Great bathroom and very comfortable bed. Food is outstanding - best cooked English breakfast we have had. Well worth staying for the evening meal in the pub that is also part of the business. There is no where better to eat in the area.

Excellent service, great room, fantastic settingI stayed at Foundry Masters House while working in the area, the room was suspicious, the bathroom clean and modern; and best of all they provide free high speed Internet access, which hotels usually charge extortionist price. Above all, the service was second to none, highly recommended.

Good room, lovely breakfastClean, comfortable and very smart room with unexpectedy huge bathroom let down slightly by the position of the TV way up on top of the wardrobe. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent (I'm a coffee snob). Run by a friendly couple who made us very welcome. We'd stay again.

The welcome on arrival was very warm and friendly. All of the staff were very helpfull and freindly, attractive bar staff always helps also. The real ales along the bar as you walk in, look very inviting. They taste as good as they look. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. Bathroom was amazing. The breakfast was quality and made with local produce. Will deffinately go back.

We had a great Christmas eve at the house, Danny and Dawn made us very welcomeWe ate at the Coalbrookdale Inn, the food and drink were superb, perfectly cooked, nicely presented. The early (because we were visiting the grandchildren in Telford) Christmas morning breakfast was lovely, not the indifferent fare you often see in hotels, and again, perfectly cooked. We will certainly return next time we need to stay over in Telford.

This is a lovely B&B. The room was lovely and the bathroom beautifully finished. For business travellers there is no wifi or desk but there is wifi in the pub just down the road. I also had problems with the mobile signal for the 3G card so just take the night off and enjoy the hospitality!

Great little Hotel. Friendly welcome & owners. Good food at the local pub Coalbrookedale Inn.An unfortunate event with my room lock resulted in me sharing with my travelling colleague plus having to detour my trip back to London from Liverpool to collect my holdall. This was compensated with 50% discount on the total accomodation bill for me and my colleague. I was a little disappointed that the issue could't have been resolved before our departure in the morning.

Welcoming hosts and lovely food at their nearby pub restaraunt. The accomodation was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for visiting the museums in Ironbridge and surrounding area. We would recommend a stay here.
