Formosa Park Hotel & Aparmtents is located in Ria Formaosa nature protection area, this hotel lies approximately 20 km from Faro airport. A pathway leads 800 m through a pine forest to Ancao Beach and there are many shopping venues as well as countless bars, restaurants and nightclubs to be found within 4 km of the hotel. Transfer to the airport takes about 40 minutes and links to the public transport network lie roughly 9 km away.

This hotel was opened in 2002 and comprises a total of 61 apartments spread over 3 floors. Guest have access to an approximately 500 m² garden and amongst the facilities count a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a safe and a lift in addition to a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. Further amenities include a conference room, a public Internet terminal, a bicycle hire service and a playground for younger guests.

The spacious apartments each come with a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, a radio, a hi-fi stereo system, Internet access, a kitchenette, a fridge, tiling, air conditioning, and central heating and a hire safe as standard. Sports enthusiasts may play a round of tennis or billiards and an entertainment programme provides some variation. It is 7 km to the nearest golf course.

Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet; lunch and the evening meal can be taken a la carte or chosen from a menu. In addition, special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided.
