The room was clean and tidy if a little tired. The room was right on the pool which was lovely. The location is very peaceful and quiet but you would need a car in the sumer as it would be too hot to walk the 1km to the port of Gocek.I read the reviews on the breakfast before I left which looked good but when we got there I can only describe this as disappointing. It consisted of a boiled egg in the middle of the plate surrounded by pieces of cucumber and tomato with two pieces of cheese and two pieces of salami. Maybe this was because I went in low season but I was under the impression that there would be a buffet and some choice. I was only there for a couple of nights but if I had to stay a week this would get very boring to eat every day.Overall it is a nice place to stay but the accommodation is basic and yes showers are hit and miss if you get hot water!We also stayed for the BBQ evening. The food was nice but overpriced at 40TL per person. In Gocek port you can eat out for 70TL for 3 people with a few drinks included.Staff were very pleasent and helpful and the place has got a nice feel to it but it is basic and not luxurious. So if all you want is a place to stay that is quiet to chill out by the pool this is ideal but don't expect any frills.

Re Hotel Forest GateWe arrived there very late at night I did phone to tell them and they said it would be fine. In the event we got there before qwe expected aqnd had to grope around in the dark. We found out by searching at the back of the reception desk what our room no was and we managed to get in it but there was no bedding. We went into another couple of rooms which were open but without success then the reception guy appeared. He had been sleeping and sorted us out. It would have been much easier if the bedding had been ready and a note left on the desk. Also there was no hot water and we had to go into another room the next morning to have a shower.
