I like the friendly staff. It is a great location. Garibaldy, palacio of bellas artes, zocalo and chapultepec all close by. dinning is excellent. live music. I will visit the hotel again.

Great location - right next to Hidalgo subway station, next to one of the biggest parks in Mexico, and just minutes away from Bellas Artes and Zocalo. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of fruit and baked items.

Beds were clean. Leaking toilet was repaired during our stay without our having to request it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was good but not great. Locations was right next to a subway station. There was no heat and two days there was no hot water. My daughter and I felt the door locks were flimsy but we didn't feel at risk. We wanted to see Mexico CIty, not live in the lap of luxury and we didn't have the bad experiences that the other two reviewers had, so I wanted to balance the picture a little. We were on the 8th floor. Perhaps other floors were different. I wrote a previous positive review and am surprised not to see it.

I booked for 3 nights but got bedbug bites all over me the first night. I got hundreds of bites over night and they developed worse and worse since then due to swelling and spreading. When we complained to the hotel manager, he moved us to a suite. But the cheap rate is not worth weeks of suffering afterwards...

Excelent, personnel help me a lot, good service, I arrived at 10:00 pm and I asked for some direction for morning next day. They leaved a map and all instructions under the door before 6:00 am. The breakfast is not included as said the reservation cause they said that free breakfast is valid if you arrive early (13:oo hrs). But for the price I don´t have problem. The check in was not quickly

My family and I were kind of forced to stay here since our original hotel was so far away from downtown Mexico City. I really wouldn't recommend any one stay there. There were cockroaches and rats running down the hall way. The rooms smelled like body odor. The beds were especially smelly, kind of like feet. The food at the restaurant was horrible, it actually made us sick. The bathroom was dirty. Overall I wouldn't stay there again. There actually is a really nice and cheaper hotel a few blocks down. It's next to an Argentinan restaurant. That's were we ended up staying the rest of our stay in Mexico.

The hotel is located in Paseo de la Reforma close to everything. The location is excellent, close to downtown and we could get taxi or Metro (subway) to any part of Mexico City. The hotel offers security box for your documents and valuables, the hospitality is excellent.

If you want to save some money and see the central sites of DF, this is the place. The location is great, the beds aren't very comfortable and the street noise is horrible on lower floors. It has everything you would expect from a cheap hotel. Wireless Internet was spotty, and I didn't recieve the free American breakfast that was listed as a special offer on orbitz. They said it was only for travelers that arrived early on the first day of their stay. These are all minor issues given the great sites within walking distance.

Great location the metro station is right and the diego rivera museum is across the street along with a movie theater and places to eat! The hotel seemed a little dead and a bit cluttered due to the construction but over all its a nice hotel with good size rooms and good service. Great deal on orbitz! def worth it!

I have no complains about this hotel. Price was convenient, location is excellent, and staff are nice and respectful. Noise in the room made it hard at nights, but I think it is because the hotel is locatd on the busiest avenue in Mexico city. I would definitely go back there.

central location in the city...access to everything..food,transportation,nite life, and culture events. Re deco rooms..nice setting..good service..and breakfast to die for. Got a VIP card at check-out time. The staff went out of the way to make my little stay a pleasant one. Great hotel for the price. Can't beat it! Shall return.

First let me say this was the best Hotel at a affordable price with a great location. The location was a t paseo the la reforma, one of the famouse strrets in Mexico. Normally you will have to pay anywhere from 100 to 200 dollars for a Hotel in this location. The hotel is under constructions on some floors when I went there in January 2009, but the construction will make the hotel better. Once you get out of the Hotel you have the train station Hidalgo half a block away and also theres a movie theather. Overall this was a great hotel for the price.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the value and quality of the hotel and the staff. For abouut $30 per night I had a room with two double beds, individual a/c unit, a clean nice bathroom with a hairdryer and cable TV with channels in English and Spanish including CNN and the "American Channel" The staff was very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. It is in a very good location only steps from the Alemeda Central and 2 blocks from the much pricier Sheraton ( at least $100) I liked the atmosphere here because it was clean and comfy but very well priced and not at all stuffy. The only down side was that the elevators seemed to be in some state of disrepair so only one was working at a time which meant a delay sometimes but for the amazing value and location it was well worth a few moments' wait. They had what seemed like a good restaurant but I just never happened to eat there. They even have room service if you are tired or not feeling so great or just want to pamper yourself. I would recomment this place. It is the kind of place I could recomment for my mother as well as for young people. It is a good middle of the road clean place. Beds were comfy and clean. The room would be equivelant to a Holiday Inn in the US maybe.

The hotel is walking distance of the Centro Historico and its various museums and the Zocalo. There is also easy access via public transportation to sites such as Xochimilco, Teotihuacan and Coyoacan.
