The hotel was clean and the location was great. We walked everywhere. The only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom. No counterspace for curling iron etc. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. We went down through bike week and there was a lot of traffic but we didn't drive anywhere. We walked every place we went and it was great.

They gave us a horrible room were you could literally here the people upstairs conversations i belive they gave us this room because we booked it through Orbitz becaused when we complained they put us in another room that was so much better but charged us alot more money

I liked the side view of the ocean as well as the secluded loction. Could use some spring cleaning and the smell of the cleaner was overbearing. The hotel is great if your not looking for something along the main action of the boardwalk. It was quiet and pretty clean over all. The room is small, though it has two beds and the bathroom was tiny. It's great if your simply using the room for what we did, to sleep and clean up. Overall, it was a nice place to stay.

We were upgraded to a standard room with kitchen. Hotel decore was outdated but the room was clean. One negative is that the room smelled like moth balls. The hotel was centrally located on the 3100 block of costal Hwy.

Location. Lack of knowledge of hotel staff about restaurants in the area. This place was perfect for what,I needed which was a room for the night for me and my 2 children ages 16 and 13.

The hotel is right by the ocean, so the location was great and parking wasn't an issue. The whole city was filled with high school seniors for "senior week", so the noise problem was not inherent to this hotel. There were a bunch of these kids in the parking lot until 4 in the morning and kept us up with their arguments. Bring earplugs. Everything in the room worked and was as clean as it could be (for being a room that always has residents who bring in wet and sandy beach items).

We were placed in a small dingy room, in the older portion (50's)building. The bathroom was dirty, nose hairs in the sink. The bed was uncomfortable, and there was a musty smell to the room. TV was tiny, and the speakers were tinny. We were exhausted, or we would have left for greener pastures.Onlt two lights in the room functioned. I slept with my shoes on.

The hotel itself is ok...room is ok, but the location is just too busy for me. Next time I would go further down.

Hotel staff was friendly. Motel part is old and rooms could use some fixing up but the rooms are clean. Short walk to beach. Little bit of a walk to the boardwalk.

This was our first trip to Ocean City. The staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean. However the beds are only full size so my feet and my husbands feet hung over the end. Also the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the springs were almost poking out through the mattress. The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach and across the street from a small amusement park. While we were there it did rain so we did use the indoor pool, which was clean and nice. The fact that there was a refrigerator and small microwave was great. But bring your own coffee and hair dryer, those are not given to you in the room. We had fun, and plan on going back again, however we would have had more fun if my husband and I were not cranky from the lack of sleep due to the bad mattresses.

the room was smaller than i thought, i found a couple bugs. i just wasnt satisfied for what i paid for. i picked up my son for the weekend,(he's a marine) and just wanted a nice family vacation and we just weren't satisfied.

We stayed at this hotel based on the rate which was very good, but I can understand why. The hotel is very out dated and did not feel clean; the carpets had a sticky feeling. The balcony felt very unsturdy and the walls were paper thin; you could hear people just walking around. Our fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night and we smelled burning plastic, but it wasn't in our room. Very strange! I think the next time we will put forth more money for a more enjoyable hotel.

The Pink Flamingo was very interesting. They put us in the room next to the ice maker so we heard that noise all night long. I couldn't believe people went for ice at 4 AM. Never mind the bathroom was small and crowded. It was a mini tub from what I gather. The shower didn't really ever get hot enough but I need to remember I am not home. We truely enjoyed the people jumping up and down at 3 am too. It was just not the greatest experience I have had. The staff was nice but the room's location and bathroom were downfalls.

The Flamingo Hotel was great for our one night stay get-away. Myself two cousins and a friend (four girls) stayed in one of the rooms. It wasn't 5 star accamodations but for our simple needs it was great. I wouldn't pick this hotel for a week+ stay but we were only there for the weekend. I would deffinately stay at this hotel again with my girlfriends for a weekend retreat. The beds and pillows were better then I thought they'd be. We all had an enjoyable stay.
