Then, all you will need to do is present your Club Grand Bahama card when you first arrive to begin your selected activity/tour or prior to ordering your meal at the restaurant, it is that simple.Hotel amenities include gift shop, beauty salon, and a 20-slip marina. My wife and I stayed here and it was fine. The tile floors made for a cooler room in the warm weather. It was a bare bones room but we hardly spent any time there anyway, we were out on the town or at the beach all day. Its a good place for saving your money for fun stuff instead of spending hundreds of dollars a night at the big hotel practically across the street.

The staff was great,and I mean ALL the staff. The price was great. The pool is out of sight and fun. I will be returning there every time I get to Freeport.

I was very disappointed in the service, the towelswere very dingy, Maid service was horrible, the hotel store items were over priced. for one liter of bottled water. Nasty floors (slippery and damp). deposit for keys to your room. You must sign a contract stating if you leave early they will not be refund ed your money. I wouldn't allow a pet to live in such an unfriendly, uncaring, and unhealthy environment. I want all of my money back!!!!

I had been to this hotel several years ago and made a point of staying there on my latest trip to the Bahamas. The rooms were nice before but have recently been remodeled and are even nicer. The hotel staff was always very helpful and more friendly people you'll never find. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice place for a decent price.

Flamingo Bay, well I am going to tell it just like it is. First the Hotel a little lower than a cheap hotel chain. If you are a none smoker don't go here. If you smoke you will be in paridise. Phone system is that of a under developed country, (terrible) don't make a call from your room. Staff at the front desk, some helpfull, others if they can here you above there loud music might say a word or two. The positives are across the street you have a beautiful beach and a awesome pool. The food is overpriced, drinks watch out for the dollars also.

Great place for a short or long getaway.

I came over during the first week of December to direct one of my Best Friend's Wedding (she lives on the Island). I took 3 of my friends who had never been to Freeport before. We found an awesome deal online with Discovery and booked right away. I come to the islands often and this hotel was a great location and short walking distance to the Beach. Excellent pool, and water activities. We enjoyed the ferry to Port Lucaya Marketplace. One of our most memorable moments was enjoying the BREAKFAST ON THE BEACH (ask for the corner table - great view).

"This is a great value. The rooms are not posh, but they are clean and have all necessary amenities. Service is fast and friendly, the restaurant is good, the private beach is second to none, the pool is excellent, and they provide excellent snorkeling and fishing guides."

"This was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. The staff was rude, maids yelling to each other from the balcony to the ground. The floors of the room were not cleaned the entire time we were there. The staff may sure you realized that anything they did for you was a burden to them, even if it was their job. The area itself was dirty. There is nothing to do there except whatever activities they have. You have to take a ferry to go to Port Lucaya at $5.00 per person round trip."

Clean comfortable rooms. Close to beautiful beach. Easy transportation to Port Lacaya. Very good food at beach restaurant. Bonfire dinner $50 each not recommended. Service a bit slow at restaurant and not customer friendly at hotel. We'd go back in a minute though.

"Reading all the positive reviews swayed me to pick this hotel, big mistake. From the moment we arrived there the people at the front desk were rude and unaccommodating, the fan and the phone in the room were broken, the hotel restaurant was horrible and to go anywhere you needed to catch the ferry which only ran once an hour. The light was broken in the public shower to use after you've checked out and the lady said well can't you use it anyway? Customers should not be treated how we were treated. I would have gladly spent the extra money to have had a more pleasant experience"

"Great place for the money,5 minutes from port lucaya,staff were friendly and helpfull.I would stay there again.Make sure you go to the fish fry on wednesday,Also go to billy joes restaurant at port lucaya its on the sheraton property on the beach.great food.Also dont forget the $15.00 a day per person government tax.Depending on which travel agent you go with it may be included."

"My husband, 2 daughters (11 & 13) & I stayed for a week. We had adjoining rooms. One faced the harbor; one faced the street. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a great pool/waterslide/swim-up bar. We went there every day. Taino Beach is across the street. It is very beautiful and not crowded. The one restaurant has a killer view, decent food and fairly slow service. We did not find any bargain restaurants but we ate a lot of really good food. Skip the bonfire! Go to The Stoned Crab. We loved our trip and would definitely go back. This is a bargain."
