Hotel was clean and comfortable. Great price for a just to sleep motel

Only the pressure of the shower. Everything but the shower pressure. I liked the play 15 plus years ago when it was number one until other hotels and motels grow around them and just let the place go to they animals but I would not let my animals stay there. Need a whole make over to be number one again.

On our week-long trip through CT, RI and MA, our first hotel stop was in Groton, CT. We found the Flagship Inn on Travelocity. Fairly inexpensive but decent ratings/reviews. The motel was just minutes away from the Naval Submarine Museum and USN Nautilus tour (both free!) We were on our way from the Connecticut River Musuem when we found the Flagship Inn. Decent motel about 50-100 feet off the highway so no problem with traffic noise. Just off of Rt. 95. Typical small motel room. Everything worked and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely recommend the motel. The free breakfast was relatively meager as there was no milk for the cereal. We had the prepackaged muffins. Free high-speed wireless internet.

The only good thing was the proximity to Mystic (10 minutes) and Mohegan Sun (15-20 minutes) The room was not clean, there was not even any shampoo. There were no pay-per -view movies (movies were advertised). The "Continental" Breakfast was basically a few stale doughnuts. I would not stay here again

The room was clean but smelled old. Great price and great location. We stayed there on our Anniversary. We were only 15 minutes either way from Foxwoods or Mohegan sun casinos. also close to stores. There wasnt much of anything for the continental breakfast. We would stay there again in the future.

Had basic needs met. Free WIFI available. Room was in good clean order. Not the most modern accommodations. Approx 1-1/2 mile from the highway is very convenient. Motel style arrangements vs a real hotel. Unfortunately, being right off the main street, helps with travel, but you get a lot of road noise. Stayed in January, so not as much traffic, but during a spring/summer stay may be worse. Uses regular keys vs key card. Only an issue if you loose the key. Was a little timid this might happen. Clean and basic accommodations (TV, queen bed, bathroom with basic linens). Sink is outside of the bathroom which is odd but helps if 2 people stay in the same room. TV services were good, with basic channels and additional movie, sport, news cable channels. No other electronic amenities, such as VCR or DVD player, etc. FREE WiFi which was a relief. Cleaning services checked daily if needed new linens. Overall an average stay with nothing special to report.

The room was a dis-appointment the entire trip. The bathroom smelled like smoke from the moment we arrived, the carpet was dirty to the point where our white socks turned black, and the sheets and carpet had more cigarete holes than I could count. When we approached the staff about the poor conditions and odors, they did not care in the least. This hotel is not worth a single penny per night.

When we first drove up, we were a little scared. It looked a little sketchy from the outside. However, our room was great. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was clean and big. It was quiet too. For as much time as we spent there, it was great. The reason we stayed there is we went to see a show at Mohengan Sun. It was only about fifteen minutes from there. The only thing I didn't like, was to go anywhere you had to cross five lanes of traffic on I-95. This probably wouldn't be an issue for some people. I'll probably stay there again. It was a cheap room close to Mohegan Sun. Also, we didn't try to free continental breakfast. We took one look at it and decided to go out to breakfast instead.

Not designated floor for smoker & non smokers. Staff not willing to assist with booking problem. Not a hotelI would again bring young kids too.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Beware of the price, you get what you pay for. The room was small, dingy and dirty. The bathroom sink was held onto the wall by a thick wad of caulk and was leaning downward. The basboard heating cover was completely rusted and flaking. Avoid this hotel.

Hotel is not the greatest but for a very short stay it is very good. Really close to the casinos and Mystic.

The distance the hotel was from the casino. The service, the demeanor of the hotel staff. There was no iron or ironing board in the room and no one to bring it up I had to go get it myself along with toilet paper and other bathroom amenities. Upon checking out I was belittled for ringing a bell to return the room. The manager stated that a women who was folding laundry and didn't acknowledge me could have took the key. I responded to him that if that were true why didn't she does so instead of having me stand here. My stay at the flagship was not a pleasant one.

No hot water,,,donuts uneatable,,ate elsewhere,,,charged me16.80 more than what travel online quoted me for 3 adults and 1= 17 yr. old ,,, front desk staff was NOT frendly

This place was terrible! We had to change rooms three times because they didn't have running water! The last room had funky brown stains on the walls from the bathroom and no toilet paper but it was too late to change by that time. The linens were dirty and covered in long black hairs. We even had to shut off the water in the bathroom because it ran (not dribbled) otherwise.

Microwave and refrigerator in room the location. Room was small. The location was good. The hotel was clean and well cared for. The male desk clerk at check in was great, the female clerk at check out didn't get out of her chair and just said "put the key in the basket". I felt as if I was bothering her.

We were at this hotel because we had a wedding at the Coast Guard Academy. The wedding was at 3:00 so we needed an early check in. Travelocity arranged it for us with no problem and no extra charges. The room was very small but clean and had a microwave and fridge. This hotel is 5 minutes from the academy.

The Flagship inn and suites was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. THIS PLACE STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each room had microwave and fridge. Dirty/burnt linens, leaky faucet, no hot water, bathroom half painted, smelly, no hair dryers, no alarm clocks, unreasonable customer service. I would not recommend this motel, except if you are drunk coming back from a casino with an anxious young lass by your side (which there seemed to be a lot of there). The overall problem was with the rooms, but we also found customer service to be poor. In the morning one room had no hot water. Luckily with three rooms we rotated showers, but without additional rooms you would have gone dirty that day. No other room was offered and when asked to change rooms we were told no. The continental breakfast was not there one day and the next a few wet doughnuts showed up. With no hair dryer in the room, I went to the office to get one and there was no one there to help for at least an hour. And then there were the rooms. Here's a brief synopsis of what we encountered: dirty/burnt linens, leaky faucet, half-painted/half-spackled bathroom, a deliciously-mildew smell, no hair dryers, no clock radios. It goes on.
