This was our first time staying at the Fiesta Resort and probably our last. Really too bad because we're up there quite often for swim meets. Although the facility seemed a little dated it was clean and our room was very nice even though our refrigerator had a half eaten rotten apple and a spoiled carton of milk in it. The room was large and the beds were comfy. Internet connectivity in the room was very spotty at best. I could connect for maybe 2 minutes and then it would drop. This was with 2 different laptops. Very frustrating. The desk staff was terrible. They seemed to be very put out if you asked for anything. I had asked if there was a microwave around to warm something up and was told “there are none for guest usage” and was given no other options. Not good if you have a baby. My wife had asked to use scissors and was told they were loaned out but she could use the one chained to the desk. She wasn’t allowed to come around the desk. She had to lean way over the desk to make the cut. Then we overheard one of the desk personnel telling another guest that the item he was looking for must be something housekeeping takes care of. Why couldn’t she call housekeeping for the guy? Isn’t that her job? Oh yeah. No complimentary coffee in the lobby on weekends. Mon-Fri only and only for certain hours.

First complaint - I called down and asked that a disposable razor be delivered to my room. Never happened and not even a call to explain why. Second Complaint - 4am in the morning what sounded like a muffled shot went off right outside my room. My heart was pounding. I waited then looked outside. The newspaper was laid at my door it must have dropped by someone at least seven foot tall. Third Complaint. Room appeared clean but old and it had a funny smell. The towells were so fun and seemed a hundred years old.

This was equal to the best experience I have had with any hotel. I felt comfortable - great bed! Very helpful staff, I would defuinitely go back there again.

Great location, updated rooms were done very well. The tile around the pool & spa looked bad. It needs to be re done. An older property with mature vegetation, charm and a great location for getting around the valley. The resort has been updated very well, the rooms all have granite counters, flat screen TV's and new furnishings. Very nice work out center. Close to shopping, Mill Street, ASU and airport.

I would recommend the fiesta resort and conference center. We were located 1/2 mile from I 10 which made navigating to spring training and around Phoenix a breeze. Close to downtown Tempe and great restaurants. The shuttle took us wherever we wanted to go (within 5 miles) and the staff were courteous and friendly. The room was clean, the bed super comfortable and the mini-fridge was a bonus as we were there 5 days. The heated hot tub and pool made relaxing at night awesome! Did not eat at the hotel; there were to many other palces to go. Picked up the rental car 1 1/2 blocks away. i would recommend this resort to anyone for its service, cleanliness and natural beauty.

Took the chance, and got a very nice hotel. Room very clean make sure it is one of the new refurbished, but I heard the other are just as nice. If you Like Frank Loyd Wright, you will like this non cookie cutter hotel. Very frendy staff

I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. It is very conveniently locatd near the ASU campus and the airport. The pool is usually warm (on this last occasion the water was cold). Service has been good although I found the service in the bar, on my most recent trip, less than acceptable. They were out of commonly requested beverages and the bartender did not know how to make requested drinks. Overall, I would definately recommend this hotel and, in fact, plan to stay there again, myself, in December.

Location was great for shopping and getting to Az State University. Poorly lighting at night, poor lighting to and around swimming pool.

I had to escape from the snow in WI this past winter and booked Fiesta site unseen. While this is not the fanciest hotel you'll ever stay in it had nice amenities including good restraurant on premises, internet access in the lobby, great restraurant recommendations from the staff and quiet, comfortable rooms. It is easy to find, allowing easy access to airport, Scottsdale, and lots of great hiking within 10 minutes to 30 minutes. Convenient parking and access to rooms. Too cool for hot tub or swimming in the pool but looked inviting for summer stays.

Quiet hotel. Liked internet access/printer capability in the lobby so we could check in by web for our flight home. Bathroom very small. We had 4 adults in the room but each day given 3 bath towels so had to call for another. Hotel should have known we needed 4. Nice pool area but did not spend any time there as we were sightseeing around the area.

Close to work and freeway. No microwave, refrigerator , bathroom exhaust fan and air conditioner was loud. I was pleased with the cleanliness. Was disappointed that there was no microwave, refrigerator or no exhaust fans in the restroom.

The hotel was great and had one of the most comfortable beds I had ever slept in. The back of the hotel was under construction, but did not bother me, because I am an early riser. The staff at the front desk were great, they printed me direction and my boarding pass when ever needed. The pool looked great although it was to cold (weather) for me to swim. I would definitly stay at this hotel again.
