The hotel is situated in an excellent place;walking distance to restaurants, banks, shops;very safe and secure location. Amenable to public transportation;very clean; courteous personnel. The only disadvantage is that if you take a taxi which was called by the front desk people, the taxi drivers tend to charge a higher flat fee than usual. I would probably be staying at this hotel the next time I visit Mexico City.

Beautiful Hotel! It was easy for our friends in Mexico City to find us. The hot tub was not filled would have been nice after we visited the ruins. The rooms were spacious and elegant. We were very comfortable and our needs were promptly seen to.

We go to Mexico City every year to see family that lives there... we've stayed at many hotels in the city in different areas. The Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec is one of the best by far! The location is perfect... It's one block from Chapultepec park and castle (way easier and more fun to walk to & through the park than drive from elsewhere). It's also just a couple minutes drive from the museums and concert hall on Reforma, and it's in a decent neighborhood. And it's just a short taxi ride to Polanco and Lomas (where the best dining, shopping, and nightlife is). The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, marble everywhere, spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, very clean, and has excellent service. The valet is fast & easy. Only the front desk was a little slow. Security was also great (this is an important factor in Mexico City) - not only did they have guards at the hotel entrance, but the elevator also required your room key to get to your floor. Also note, when I called the hotel directly they quoted me DOUBLE the Travel agency "good buy" rate - Travel agency definitely saved me some major money! The only slight negative was the steep charge for internet access, $15 for 12 hours, or $25 for 24 hours.

I highly recommend this hotel because it is within walking distance of Chapultepec Castle. There is a very nice restaurant right around the corner and there is a bank where you can exchange your traveler's checks. The room was big and worth the cost. Taxi cost from the airport to the hotel is 270 pesos. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. The Zocalo is about a 30 to 40 minute taxi ride.

The location and view from the room was beautiful. The traffic in the city is overwhelming. The hotel staff was incredible. They were cordial and gracious. The spa was excellent and the rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. I have never given a hotel a perfect score.

This is a great hotel for business. It is small and elegant with very comfortable rooms that have functioning wireless internet access. There is only one restaurant -- the food is good, but it does get old if you stay there a few nights.

This hotel is an excellent choice. I have been staying there going on two years. Would not change. Centrally located on reform and Mariano Escobego cuts comute time. Excellent secuirty at all times. Staff knows how to practice what has been preached to the - Outstanding and Verty Accomodating service. The Restaurant has an excellent variety and their Sunday Brunch is the talk of the town. The atmosphere and staff on the Executive Floor are incomparable. The view of Chapultepec Park is incredible. This hotel is a businessman's paradise.

Clean and comfortable and secure. It felt very set up for the business traveler and not so accommodating for the leisure traveler. I felt very comfortable and secure in this hotel. They seemed to really know how to take care of the business traveler but didn't quite know what to do with me who liked to walk, take the metro and generally be a more leisurely traveler.

"If you're looking for a familiar, elegant hotel at a reasonable price, look no further. Location' s great, with the Bosque-de-Chapultepec and museums within walking distance. The view from our 7th floor room was wonderful. The staff were helpful, fixing a safe w/broken keypad at 11 at night, arranging for a wonderful driver/guide, & calling cabs. Our room was large and immaculate - 2 double beds, gorgeous tile bath, great shower, lovely Mexican pottery throughout. But the hotel could have been anywhere and staying here leaves you insulated from a more personal, ""Mexican"" experience."

it was comfortable, clean, sometimes they forgot the trash but upon notify customer service they would come right away and fix any issues. Daily chocolates and fixed your bed every night, that was a good surprise. Your able to exchange dollars to pesos at a good rate. Good overall stay, and would return if had the option.

Not too large hotel. Quiet, superb restaurant. We stayed five days and enjoyed ourselves in spite of mr. Singer being ill and having to ask to see a doctor. The hotel provided an excellent doctor, very quickly, and was most helpful. Because of the good location accross the big park we were able to take nice slow walks and visit one museum as well as the zoo without difficulties. We are very happy about our stay.

"We spent 4 very pleasant nights at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful (all marble) and the service was excellent. The taxi cab service the hotel provided was great, they made good suggestions on where to eat and visit. We would definitely return to this hotel if we ever visit Mexico City again."

The staff was very accomodating to my family. The rooms were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. I booked a tour through the hotel and the commission charges were not made clear to me. The Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec exceeded our expectations for the price and beauty of the rooms. The staff were very accomodating to the needs of my large family. Perhaps they were not that full when we traveled, but they went out of their way to make sure we had not only rooms next to each other, but adjoining. We had a lovely view of Chapultepec Park from our rooms. Our stay was comfortable and luxurious. Thank you to the staff at the Fiesta Americana Grand Chapultepec!
