The Fielding Hotel is situated in a charming pedestrian street that still retains its 19th century gas lamps, just opposite the Royal Opera House, it is a haven of peace and quiet in the midst of bustling Covent Garden which, with its pubs, markets, restaurants, shops and street entertainment, is one of London's liveliest areas. Central to all the West End, theatres and cinemas, it is also within walking distance of the British Museum to the north, the Thames and Southbank Arts Centre with its concert halls, theatres, museum and gallery to the south, and to the west, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, itself close to Buckingham Palace and Westminster. Other places of entertainment and historical interest abound in all directions. The Fielding Hotel is also ideally placed for the legal profession being only a short walk from the Royal Courts of Justice, the legal nerve centre of the capital. And for the business person, a little further east lies the heart of London's financial and business activities, the City.

What are your breakfast options?: At the hotel itself we offer tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a few biscuits in each room, but we do not offer any other sort of breakfast. There are plenty of nice cafes around, where you could get a continental breakfast for around £5 or an English breakfast for around £8.50.
What transport is available to get around?: We are in central Covent Garden and the local underground station is a 2-minute walk away and it is a direct line to Heathrow. All other airports can be accessed by taxi or via Gatwick Express etc. We are a 15-minute walk from the Thames.
What can I do nearby?: Our rooms all have flat screen TV and a (slightly limited) DVD collection free of charge. All our guests can also get a free day pass to the gym and spa just 2 minutes from the hotel. We are just a few minutes' walk from Covent Garden Market, Oxford Street, Aldwych and the Royal Courts of Justice, the British Museum and plenty more.
Do you have internet?: We do have Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and it is free for all our guests.
Do you provide parking?: We are situated in a very historic pedestrian mews so there is no parking at the hotel but there is an NCP car park about a 5-minute walk from us, although parking in London is pretty expensive (around £30.00 a day). You really are better off not to bring a car into central London as there is a daily toll to be paid as well and everything is so easily accessible from here.
