We arrived late in Rome and were travelling on to Assisi early next day. This hotel was only a few minutes walk from Termini, the breakfast was good and plentiful and a good price.

Stayed here for 1 night in June '06 - hotel was great for the last minute price €110. couldn't get the air con to work properly, so the room was hotter than we would have wished. Didn't spend too much time in the room, so not a big deal. I would recommend this hotel.

Overall we were very pleased with this hotel. The only problem we had was that the bathroom could have been cleaner- there was mould in some areas. The staff weer very friendly and helpful, gave excellent restaurant recommendations

Nice hotel. Not in the best part of town but only a 2 minute walk from the main railway station. Rooms are small but fine. breakfast is excellent - good selection. service was good too at reception desk, spoke pretty good english. Overall stay was excellent, however watch out for those maids, my friend ( foolishly I know ) left his digital camera in the room and on our return later that evening it was gone. A shrug of the shoulders from reception was the best we could get.

The location of the hotel and its services met our needs during an extended stay in Roma. It was close to train station for accessing other transportation, etc. Staff were helpful and were resourceful in providing references for places for evening dining. The cucina recommended reflected home cooked meals/entrees - - went twice. The room was a nice size and met our needs. The hotel was recommended by a friend who stayed there with a tour group several years ago. If in Roma again, we would book again. Thank you.

Fiamma is a budget hotel. It should be looked upon as that. Four nights in November cost me €280. Both checking in and checking out were done within a matter of minutes. I stayed in a single room on the 4th floor which faced onto the main road. There was some noise from the traffic outside during the day but between midnight and 6am it was virtually silent. The room was fit for the purpose that I required. It was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. The bathroom was very compact but it did the job. I enjoyed the breakfasts which although simple were good. Cooked meats, bread, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juices. You could really fill up for the day ahead with as much as you wanted. I especially enjoyed the breakfast coffee which comprised of a beaker of coffee and a beaker of hot milk. As a single traveler I think I got about 5 cups of coffee out of that. The breakfast staff were excellent. Within a matter of minutes of being seated you were presented with coffee. The location was excellent. I got the bus from the airport which stops at the side of the main tran station. The hotel was a 2 minute walk along the same road heading north. Its also close to 2 metro stations, I preferred to use the Republica station.

Good rooms, good location. Enjoyed a good breakfast. The only disappointment was a lack of communication. We arrived in Rome at 2 am. When we got to the Fiamma, we were told that we had been booked in to one of their other hotels, which was then another 10 minute walk. We would have apppreciated this information beforehand since we booked well in advance. But we were not dissappointed once we got there. Overall quite content.

Upon late arrival for a seven day stay, check-in was friendly and smooth. First impression of room (1st Floor at rear of property) was, spartan i.e. small and narrow with a steel frame bedstead. The pristine bathroom, with all amenities provided and functioning, including an unusually spacious, for this area and price range, double-door, walk-in shower cubicle, was almost a big as the room. However, the bed proved to be extremely comfortable and the pillows (which, for me can make or break a holiday) were good quality and very comfortable. The room was maintained in a spotless conditiom throughout my stay. There was, on most evenings, some domestic family noises from adjacemt properties in the block but these were never intrusive and did not go into the early hours. Thoughtless hotel guests, on the other hand, did waken me a couple of times with loud conversations in the corridors and careless slamming of doors. Breakfast was the expected "Continental" buffet and, although repetitive, was more than adequate for re-fuelling for the days meanderings with plenty of fruit provided as well. All staff were invariable civil and helpful throughout my stay and I would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to the "Faimma"

Hello, it was a tight squeeze with the bed against the wall. Our air conditioner was not working and no one attemped to fix it, so it was hot all night. The buffet was great. The location very handy but the cab driver charged us 26 Euros from the train station.

Our resevavion was changed to the Gallia hotel. I found the workers very unhelpfull, and serious. The information about the city was very minimale. I asked someone how to go to the airport *ciampino* he told me only by taxi it is not possible any other way. We found out that there is a bus 2 streets away that takes you. for me it's importante information. The Fiamma hotel seemed more profesional and only had 3*. The room and breakfast was fantastic

Because I was a first-time visitor to Rome, and naturally nervous and overwhelmed by such a great and creative city, I could have used a little more attention to needs to settle in and feel at home. However, I realize most of your visitors know the language and are seasoned travelers and you expect all guests to know all about things -- which I did not. The room was great but it remains a mystery to me how to turn on the air conditioner. Mercifully, it rained my one night there and with the window open, I could breathe. But an excellent, clean room with all that I needed and extremely courteous people at the desk. If I return, I would like to stay there again,

Front desk staff at check in was not at all friendly or helpful. Others later were a little more so. Shower was terrible and no hot water in the morning, some at night. No soundproofing. You can hear other room and hallway noise very well. Breakfast was dismal and again very unfriendly staff. But all that said, for the price, in Rome,it was not too bad for a night or two stay. Bus and Metro was close. A very good little family resturant a half block up the street.

We rent the room with the last minute offer, so, this hotel was quite cheap. However, I suppose there were nicest room if you pay the plain price. Our remarks: no heat in the bathroom waiting for hot water towels and sheets not changed everyday big breakfast good mattress. Good choice !
