I would recomend this hotel if you want a quite family trip. All activies are if not on the resort grounds very close the resort. This vacation was very relaxing and fun.

Close to the family we were seeing in the area. Restaurant for breakfast needs big time updating. Have stayed here several times in the past and over the year's the breakfast menu has still never changed. Needs improvement. Good place to stay. Lots of activities year round.

The staff was extremely nice but the rooms are horrendous. The first one... the door wouldnt lock and the bath had mold. The second one... had mold. Wouldnt go back.

My husband, two girls, and myself stayed at Fernwood for a long weekend in early June. I was really impressed with the hotel staff and overall we had a wonderful stay. We spent the weekend in one of their villas and it truly felt like we had our own little aparment. They seemed to be new and I don't think any of us felt like we were cramped at all. We decided to stay here because the website made it sound like they had a lot of activities for everyone and I was very pleased to find that all of us were able to do something we really enjoyed. My husband went golfing, the girls did some hikes, and I got to go shopping at a nearby outlet mall. Again, the staff we dealt with was always very friendly and the weeked was just great, exactly what we needed.

The Fernwood Hotel and Resorts was very huge and comfortable. We stayed in a villa with a living room area, nice kitchen, dinning room, a bathroom downstairs, then upsets was the bed room and another bathroom. It felt as if we were home. It was very relaxing, peaceful, and a beautiful view of the balcony. I really enjoy that all the activties were in walking distances from the resort. I would go back again.

I liked the kid friendly atmosphere. The children loved the kid’s camp. Service at the trolley stop dinner was slow. I have stayed in this hotel several times for both winter and summer sports. The hotel is very kid friendly. They have lots of activities for families and the staff’s suggestions on what to do are always helpful. The rooms themselves need a little attention. There seems to be some moisture problems in the hotel and it is evident in almost every room. Be careful of the doors as well. Many times while staying there we have come back to our rooms only to find the doors open. Nothing was ever missing and none of our things were touched. I believe the doors are due to house keeping.

It's fun, for me and my family, I wouldn't find any hotel better than the Fernwood hotel anywhere in BUshkill or Poconos. Even, if there was a better hotel than the Fernwood hotel, I wouldn't step through the frount door unless I was asking for directions.

I like the amenities. The service was horrible. If you go to the Pocono’s I would not suggest Fernwood. The restaurants left much to be desired. The room amenities were great but once you relax be prepared to sleep on a hard uncomfortable bed, and if you need an extra pillow you may not get it, we didn't.

Fernwood Resort has obviously seen better days. We stayed in a Treetop Villa, which is a two-story condominium type with a very spacious downstairs and a very confining bedroom upstairs. We were pleasantly surprised upon entering to find the room so spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the dining area was nicely furnished. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended, as the carpeting and remaining furniture were worn, not terribly clean, and cheap. The fireplace was locked, and the sofabed could not be sat on because the cushions collapsed into the frame. We did not open it. The bedroom was small and sparse, and the jet tub was quite grimey around the fixtures. The downstairs toilet was badly rust-stained. The place seems like it would be perfect for a bunch of undiscerning college kids looking for a place to crash while skiing. Indeed, it looked as though that might possibly be what happened to it. The grounds are very spread out, and some areas are quite pretty. We checked out each and every eatery on the property and would not consider eating in any of them, as each seemed dirty and unkempt and the menus uninspired (even the Cinnabons on display looked hard and dried out). We opted for Perkins nearby. Check-in was fine, and the inevitable timeshare salesperson wasn't too pushy when she called later.

The staff and guests were very friendly. I like having directions to everywhere we wanted to go. This was a nice surprise. We booked our trip last minute and were very pleased with the resort, staff, and the experience we had there. We will definitely be back.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! IT IS A DUMP! The fernwood advertises itself as a resort, however it is no more than a gussied up roadside motel. For around * a night you will get a squeaky stiff bed, mysterious odor, and a view of the pool fence.

We wanted to get away from everything before the start of the school year and found exactly what we needed at the Fernwood Resort in Bushkill. The surrounding area is beautiful and relaxing. The guest villas are very spacious and feel more like home than a hotel. They could use new carpet, but the kitchen and baths were obviously newly remodeled and very clean. The staff was extremely helpful and for a family with kids this is s great vacation spot.

stayed at fernwood - great location. accomodations were roomy. one and half baths were a plus. wish we were staying longer. nice restaurants - ate at two different. dinner was very good and breakfast dinner was cute, fast and good, too. the bar looked pleasant, but seemed very smoky.

My son loved the game room. There were several resaurants that were nice. The rooms were dirty and outdated. There were several activities for the family to do. There was also a choice of restaurants to eat. The rooms were dirty. The carpets were horrible!

i don't know where other people who r bashing this place stayed, but i have been here 2 times & planning my 3ed. the villa was more than expected, the pool & best jacuzze area i have been to yet! i highly recommend this the best pocono resort!!!!
