From the airport:BusThe air-coach departs every 15 minutes outside the arrivals hall. The stop you require is Trinity College. Walk back to the main gates of Trinity College, the road in front of the main gates is Dame Street. Walk up Dame Street and turn right into Temple Bar after the Central Bank. Keep walking straight into Temple Bar and at the square turn left. Keep walking for about 3 minutes and Farringtons of Temple Bar is on the left hand side.From the airport you may also take bus 16A, which departs every 15 minutes from the arrivals. This service will leave you on Dame Street on the left side.

Great blend of old and new, the pub is traditional and the rooms are modern reminding me of boutique hotels in NYC. The noise is a drawback, Temple Bar is non stop street noise and the windows are large and old, allowing a lot of in room noise. Great little find I slept with earplugs...

Excellent value for moneyMy friend and I stayed at the Farrington for two nights and were both very pleased with this accomodation. Very clean and modern with very comfy beds! On the down side the stairs up to our room were a killer but that could just be because we are both so unfit! also, the beer delivery in the morning was quite loud, bad times for a hangover. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one wanting good value for money accomodation close to the temple bar area of Dublin.

Since this is a pub there is a lot of street noise well after midnight, so don't plan on sleeping much.

Good quality of room for the discount price, Very nicely furnished. Up two flights of stairs with no lift but not a problem if you are fit and dont have too much luggage.Opposite several late night clubs so can be a bit noisy but not too bad.Food in the restaurant is abyssmally awful, probably the worst meal I have ever eaten in Ireland. Complaints met with a shrug of the shoulders. By all means stay here but dont ever be tempted to try the restaurant, there are plenty of other good ones nearby.

Cool place -- would stay again!Very spiffy room, unbeatable location, fantastic (and large) shower, and a good deal on price! (And it was cool to enter through an unmarked red door off a side street; it felt like I had a secret...) The bar staff were friendly and very helpful. The only downsides were a) no breakfast, and b) noise from the very, very loud street outside late at night comes right into the room if you face out onto Temple Bar -- but I was tired and it didn't keep me up.
