The room was quite nice with a refrigerator which was nice. Service was good and helpful. Location is excellent, My second stay and will stay again. Only grip is that the pool is tiny, but at least it is there for a refreshing dip.

This is a neat little place with a terrific location. It's across the steet from the Farmers Market and Grove Mall as well as CBS. They have redone what was once an average motel into a quaint, country-themed inn right out of " Green Acres"! The rooms are small but efficient and very clean. The restaurant "Tart" is excellent for breakfast. The best news is that the price is very reasonable for this area. My wife and I recommend it highly.

We were in LA for a convention. The location of this hotel is really convenient. Close to all the Hollywood sites. Directly across the street is the Farmer's Market. It has tons of great food stands. The room was simple and clean. I like the wood floors as I think carpet in hotel rooms is yucky.

This hotel is idea for individuals on quick one day stay. We are a family of four and it did not offer the comfort level for families that we are used to. There is a restaurant on the ground level yet they did not offer room service, even though they own the restaurant. Made no sense to us. Location is the best thing this hotel has to offer. It is in walking distance to American Girl Place, which was were we were going, and the famous historical Farmer's Market. Now that place was really interesting and filled with exotic and tasty foods. CBS Studios is across the street and it is not far from movie star homes. Be ware of the 14 a day parking fee and 24% city and hotel taxes, it can make a moderately priced room become quite expensive. The beds are small, great for two kids sharing but for parents on a double bed, it is quite tight. Also bring slippers because there is no carpet (lino through) and very cheap furniture. Our bathtub paint was chipped and the NOISE was unbearable!!!! Between the street traffic and the bathroom fan and heater; I nearly lost my hearing. If you are light sleeper, cross this place off your list, you'll be dead to the world in the morning. The Valet and Front Desk people were nice and pleasant to speak with, it's just the facility that needs a little bite less country and more city comforts. Perhaps they'll consider a new fan that doesn't sound like a take off launch for NASA every time someone turns the light on.

The Farmer's Daughter is conveniently located right across the street from the Farmer's Market and the Grove shopping mall, which affords a wide variety of dining/shopping/entertainment options. Also not a far drive from Hollywood/Downtown/Universal Studios. The rooms were nicely decorated, carrying the Farm theme througout. The best thing about the room, comfort-wise, was in the providing of a wide variety of pillow sizes and thicknesses. Least appealing was the wooden desk chair. It would have been nicer if there was an additional comfortable chair. Also be aware there is a daily parking charge ($12 when I was there) and a daily or hourly fee for internet connection.

Very clean room; spare, simple furnishings, but they were new and functional; ipod port at bedside table. Did not know in advance I would have to pay for parking, and there was a lot of street noise. But overall very pleasant.

Farmer's Daughter is in a great location and is very family friendly. Because all rooms open to an outside, central courtyard on every level that overlooks the VERY small pool, it can get a bit noisy. The restaurant has very good food and strange hours and there is no room service. The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms are clean and well kept, but again very basic. If you are seeking the luxury of a chain hotel go elsewhere. If you are the artsy, trendy type, Farmer's Daughter is your answer.

OK location in a city too big, the Grove (dining, shopping and delis) just across the street. Hotel decor was nice, pool and restaurant site was very cozy and nice. Room decor is getting tired, feels like it needs an update. Beds not so comfy. Valet parking is just irritating. Service was very nice though.

The Farmers Daughter Hotel was very nice. Friendly staff Valet parking Excellent resturant on the property called Tart Clean rooms Nice cleaning staff Felt very safe Convienent location The one and only complaint was that our bed was very hard, but everything else was just fine and we will stay their again.

This hotel is adorable! The decor is sparse, but comfortable and very unique. The restaurant next door, TART, served both great breakfasts and tasty lunches/dinners (love the desserts!). The parking was very convenient and the attendant was helpful. Check-in and check-out were a breeze- the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right across the street from the CBS studio. When I went to check in contestants from The Price is Right were crowded in the lobby, celebrating the win of one of the big prizes by one of the hotel guests so the atmosphere was very festive. However, when it was night time, it was a very quiet place. I especially appreciated the hotel's no-smoking policy throughout.
