In amongst the valleys are 11 villages as well as countless hiking trails, beautiful walking paths and pretty lakes just waiting to be explored. The nature preservation centre at Ruhestein is the first stop for guided tours along the famous Schwarzwaldhochstraße, a popular tourist route.

Active holidaymakers will be pleased at the vast sporting oportunities: swimming in one of the 5 outdoor pools, tennis, mountain biking, horse riding, golf (7km away), paragliding, in-line skating, Nordic walking and lots more. In Winter there are easy to moderate skiing slopes as well as idyllically situated cross country skiing trails to try.

All our guestrooms are furnished with lots of wood in a typical Black Forest style and feature a comfortable balcony.
