Fairwinds Hotel and Chalets are situated in Carrbridge in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. Guests enjoy the choice of accommodation in our 3 star (Scottish Tourist Board) hotel or in our superbly appointed purpose-built timber chalets, both professionally and personally run by resident owners Alison and Lindsay. Immensely popular for Scotland leisure and romantic breaks, this charming little hideaway gains its reputation from superbly professional yet carefully laid back management, its well respected restaurant and its idyllic romantic setting. Fairwinds Hotel and Chalet sits in 7 acres of very secluded, peaceful, and lovingly cared for private grounds surrounded by mature woodlands. In addition to our resident family of mallard ducks, roe deer, red squirrels and crested tits number amongst the wildlife that frequently visits our grounds. Our five guest rooms are all very different, and are individually and tastefully decorated. We use top of the range bed linens and towels as well as Arran Aromatic toileteries. All are equipped with TV, video player, hairdryer, radio/CD alarm clock and all have en-suite facilities. The hotel offers free Wi Fi connection to our guests with access to a computer in the lounge. Our large period conservatory serves as our Restaurant where guests can enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and candlelit dinner in the evenings. The food is freshly prepared by Lindsay in our kitchen using the finest of produce, much of it sourced locally. We received recognition of our commitment to quality in 2002 with the award of Taste of Scotland status and were aslo awarded with three gold medallions for our food. Dinner can be booked directly with the hotel. Guests can watch red squirells and our varied birdlife while dining. We are delighted to cater for vegetarian and special diets and we do appreciate advance notice.
