The Fairway Inn in LaPorte,Texas was comfortable and clean. The maintance was not as good. The lights over the sink were very dim and the latch for the door was broken, but overall the place was nice.

There was BLACK MOLD on the shower curtain and on the ceiling. Stains on bedding. Dried food on walls. DISCUSTING. Not worth the cheapest price!

The room was comfortable enough,and clean, although the stair and hall carpet was very dirty.

The staff was incredable! The front desk clerk used the internet to find several places that i NEVER would have found! Make my own waffles for breakfast? alot better than a pckaged pastry. They have a new loyal customer here!

The Fairway Inn had nice curb appeal and a nice lobby and breakfast area upon our arrival. We checked in and later came into the rooms (2). Much to our surprise the bathrooms were moldy on the ceilings and the shower curtains were molded also. Houskeeping was already gone that evening so we asked that the next day we be given a new room or at lease clean up what we had. We left early that morning because the smell of the mold and the filthy carpet was not good. Came back in that evening late, as to only sleep. We stayed out late so as not to spend to many hours there. The condition of the room had not changes. Long story short, they are not aware that they are in a Service Industry. Nothing was done to accommodate our stay or to fix the situation. Not worth even the cheap rate. Pay a little extra and stay up the road.

Fairway Inn in LaPorte the room was nice, but they had very hard beds. The management was lacking in many ways. They weren't helpful at all when there was confusion with the bill and refused to give me back one of my receipts from one of the two rooms I had stayed in. Even though they had originally gave them to me before the confusion had began and it was their mistake in the first place. I won't be going back because I feel that they didn't handle the situation in a good way.

The Fairmont Inn was very easy to access. The room was very clean and roomy. The motel was very close to my destination and the hotel staff was very helpful in finding the location for me. There was a restaurant next to the motel.
