The Fairmont Mayakoba is completely surrounded by a mangrove forest, and it puts guests in a calm area full of lagoons and beautiful beaches. The hotel is close by to many of the Playa del Carmen area’s attractions, including Fifth Avenue, which is famous for its shops and restaurants, and the Xcaret Eco Theme Park. This hotel is easily accessible by car, and guests of the Fairmont Mayakoba can park in the hotel’s on-site lot. The hotel is about an hour from the Cancun International Airport.

The 363 guest rooms of the Fairmont Mayakoba offer guests amenities like in-room safes, minibars, telephones, high-speed Internet access, and satellite televisions. Where can we dine?: We have three restaurants at the resort.

- Las Brisas is located right on the beach, opens daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm for lunch at the terrace with the fantastic view of the Caribbean. Las Brisas completes AAA-Four Diamond Award and is our fine dining, offers upscale dinner, the exquisite Contemporary Cuisine at the salon Monday through Saturday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. Reservations are required for dinner. Dress code for dinner: Resort Casual *no tank top, t-shirts, and flip flop.

- La Laguna offers a relaxed ambiance, opens daily for breakfast through dinner. Located in the island area “La Isla” and surrounded by emerald green waters of the lagoon. You can explore the gastronomic history of our region. Dress code: Casual

What is the beach like?: The hotel itself is located in front of the sea, but most of the rooms will be either facing the water canals or the jungle. We have more than 30 rooms in the beach area.
