Very upscale with a great location. Room was a little small.

I attended a wedding there and I saw the banquet/catering manager scold an employee for pouring a coffee for someone, as she was told not to be in the room. Obvious this hotel is not guest oriented. The front desk staff was accomadating, as well as the door staff and concierge. I would stay again, just not have any functions there!

After walking through the beautiful lobby and seeing the lovely Oak Room bar, we were very disappointed when we arrived in the room. The room was very small and very dirty. The bathtub was covered with mildew and the linens were unclean. We were scheduled to stay for four nights and only stayed one, transferring to the Westin next door for the same price. Several other people at the conference had the same experience. While I am sure there are lovely rooms at the Fairmont Copley, I would not recommend staying in this hotel as the chances of having a bad room are too great.

Location was great Thermostats in rooms do not work The thermostats in the rooms do nothing. The maid left the air conditioner turned on all day and when I returned at night it was 60 degrees in my room. I turned up the thermostat to heat the room. After waiting an hour and getting colder by the minute I called for assistance and was told that the hotel has no heat. They brought me a little space heater. They should have to tell you at booking or check in about this problem.

Well this hotel is very beautiful but way over priced! the rooms are very tiny with hardly any room to do anything. The minibar as well as snacks are way over price come on * for a snickers that I could go down the street and buy for * cents. Close to down town so you can walk a lot but, we werent told until we checked in there is no hotel parking you must either find your own parking garage which is very costly or pay the hotle * a day to store your car. So you may get a deal on the room but dont forget the parking. Overall I wouldnt go back here and I only paid * per night. If I paid the * they were asking i would have been aggrivated!!!! Save your money there are plenty of nicer hotels in the Boston area!!!

The lobby was beautiful, check-in was fast and the restaurant excellent. The room was very small.

The staff was most friendly and helpful. I could with ease state that of all the hotels I have frequented, this one oozed with courtesy.

Clean, convenient, pet friendly, great friendly and accommodating staff. Nice, pet friendly hotel in the middle of Copley Square.

Our room was cramped, the closet didn't have enough room to hang a suit and dress. We were kept awake most of the night from hallway noise. The exercise room is on the same floor as the smoking rooms and the hallway reeks of stale smoke, not exactly healthy.

Great city hotel and excellent location in Back Bay.

service folks were very friendly, decor very lush, but bathroom, window and shower curtains in disrepair and two lamps with nearly-falling-off lampshades. Finery that looked worn out.

Location to all key points in Boston, including MTA. Room was small, little walking space. Fairmont Copley Plaza represents the best of old Boston charm and luxury. Located near the John Hancock Tower, the Hotel's amenities, including it's famous bar; and access to key walking destinations and mass transit, makes this hotel a pleasant location for leisure and business travelers.

"staying at the plaza at the concierge's floor is worth every penny! the gold floor gives you access to beautiful rooms, lounge, and an amazing kitchen where breakfast and cocktalis are served everyday. what a feast! you can also borrow cds, dvds, and books during your stay. our room was gorgeous, spacious and CLEAN! the staff will make you will feel like royalty! "This hotel was GREAT--luxurious, across from Copley Plaza, etc. When I had a medical procedure the next day, MGH was VERY easy to get to from there. They even parked our car for us and picked us up on the curb. The price is ridiculous, but the conference paid for it, and we were VERY happy"

"The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, if you like soft mattresses. The bathroom was clean and all marble tile.Large walk-in closet. Didn't care for our view, but the location was great! The staff was very courteous. "

Beautiful, old world hotel. Our room was a very long walk from the elevator and in a dimly lit section of the hotel.
